This bitch is done. I've been working on this for 3 days straight. Decimation, eye tracking, mouth keyframes, ripping models from Source Filmmaker, light, particle effects, audio, hand animations, all done. Forgive me for not releasing this now, but I'm waiting for my vive controller to come back from repairs and I want to be the first to use this model and test it for any bugs I may have missed. I'll release it the day I get my controller back.

Every thread this question gets asked and every answer is the same. Kinect tracking is pure shit and completely worthless, it's not even worth $5. It glitches out more often than it doesn't, making your avatar look ugly as fuck and like a spastic monster. The tracking is inherently flawed so even if you don't spaz out, your movement won't be smooth. The field of view is also limited so if you jump or go down low you're completely fucked and the Kinect won't track your fat ass. Oh yeah say good bye to 360 tracking by the way, that goes way the fuck out of the window too.

I have a weird problem that I can't figure out. All the dynamic bones spaz out constantly and whenever I open up the menu, with a mirror I can see my avatar hanging in the sky. This doesn't happen with the 25+ other avatars I've worked on. I'm really not sure what the issue is. It was working fine till I updated the SDK. I've tried disabling everything: custom animations and the dynamic bones and it doesn't resolve it. The position of the character in the bone editor is 0,0,0 too.

On my current model I have a shapekey that adds nipple pasties, which is a solution to my nipple problem.

But how do I ensure this shapekey is at 100 at all times? Is there any way to apply it's max value to the basis and every other shapekey? I can't find a lot of shapekey info online

Set the key shape to 100
Hit the black upside triangle on the side and select new shape from mix
Move the new key to the top. May want to rename it to basis.
Now go into edit mode and hit the cube icon at the bottom to apply the shape key to the mesh

That changes the default basis to the new one but I'm not sure about changing the others.

I've been having a problem recently where my guardian system has stopped working. I use it all the time to re-orient myself, since I have a small space to play in. Without it, I hit the wall a couple times, and not just that, but the back wall which I never face with the guardian system to help me face forwards. I reinitialized the whole thing twice, but it seemed to go away after the first reinitialize. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just bought a third tracker too. Was getting a little fed up of losing my hands in certain spots, especially behind my back.

I've been trying to get a feel for the best maps for various things. Pug seems like a solid choice for everything. Gaia nights seems a little more chill and more likely lewd. Hey there /vrg/ working on uploading my 2nd model, ran into this issue when I was trying to test out my dynamic bones by hitting the play button in unity. When I imported the model it had the jaw bone assigned to the right eye, which I set to "none" and then imported like normal, but that was the only issue, not sure what this message means or what it wants me to do. There's these things you can buy called Trackstraps, if you get two sets (4 straps) you can use 2 on your feet and 2 on your waist. If you're fat (35+ inch waist) you may need one extra strap.

I gave myself a challenge for this snake MMD so that it will render the eyes with light and do a transparent iris shine. I did it and solved some alpha masking concerns too.

Click the emission box, drag your texture to the emission slot and set your emission rate. 1.0 is like having your eyes unlit, I usually go between 1 and 1.5 so they glow a bit in world's with bloom.
