So I have an odd bug in VR chat, basically dependant on where my camera is on the Y axes determines the altitude of my character
when I look up I sink into the ground, when I look down I start to float in the air
This only happens during animations though, but if I am not looking forward while walking It becomes very janky watching me move up and down randomy

Same here - this one time I went in with a tiny Sylvie avatar and didn't speak because it was late.

Ended up meeting this Tanya Degurechaff who happened to be exact same height as me and also didn't speak - instant friendship. Spent the last week almost entirely with this person doing magic shows for people, charades, coaster rides, whatever.

Put the shapekey to 1.0, create a new mixset on that basis, put the new shapekey on top as basis, revert the original shapekey to 0

Change it in Unity. With your model in the scene, expand it out. You'll see Body nested immediately below it. Click Body. In the Inspector panel, you'll see all the shape keys. Change them here and they'll affect the 'base' model.

You can also change the values of the shapekeys here when doing animations. Much easier than adding them in the animation window itself (and I haven't seen a tutorial recommend this - it's a big deal).

UV mapping is the process of flattening the mesh onto a 2d plane. You shouldn't need to mess with the UVs i.e. just modify the tiff files if you want to change what's on the laptop screen or the front of the hat

I think that the problem is with that file. When I use the opengl32.dll x64 bit, because my system is 64 bit, the game doesn't even open its window. Using a process explorer, I discovered that the game crashes a second or so after running it.

Notice something different? The game is not using the opengl32.dll file from the game folder. Instead, it is using the one by default in Windows, located in C:\Windows\System32, as seen here https://i.gyazo.com/ff8d033e8d82f44f81191cd00e4608dd.png

Why doesn't the game uses the opengl32.dll x32 of the game folder? Because the game needs the 64 bit one, so it ignores the opengl32.dll file from the game folder and uses the 64 bit one located in System32.

So all can I tell is that the problem is with the 64 bit version of the opengl32.dll that comes with Sybaris AIO. That dll makes the game crash even before opening.

EDIT at the moment of writing this: Looks like the game ALWAYS runs with 64 bit versions of the opengl32.dll. I discovered this because I replaced the default opengl32.dll of System32 with the 64 bit version that comes with Sybaris. Both are 64 bit.

The game DOES NOT run with a 32 bit version of the dll, it shows and error.

So this let me conclude that the problem is the 64 bit dll provided with Sybaris. Any help with that?

On Blender? Numpad 1 3 7 to change views, enable xray and axes for bones in armature. Roll the bones so that they bend towards z axis. If you want to level all your bones as if pressed against a table, go to Edit mode, select them, press S then Z and then 0 to scale them on Z axis to 0. Your pivot point is probably on median on default so it should work. You should also fuck around with Pivot Points to make your rotating work easier.

If you have a Rift, I suggest learning Oculus Medium, as well as Blender. Medium is really good/intuitive for blocking out the general shape of stuff, and then you use Blender to smooth, texture, rig, etc. Or you could use Medium models as a general guideline for how you want your model to look.

Today I had to create a tongue because my ported over mmd model didn't have any, and I just learned Oculus Medium and created a tongue in under 20 minutes. It was literally that fast for me to both learn what the fuck I'm doing in Oculus Medium (by just messing around with buttons and seeing what they do), and then let it export a low triangle version FBX file into Unity. For something this simple I didn't even need to go through Blender.

I've roleplayed my entire life online and if there's one thing that nearly every comunity shares it's you don't reveal your gender. If you're a female character and are confirmed to be a dude nobody will roleplay with you anymore. They lose all enjoyment.
