I am not. I noticed my hand movement was juddery in Oculus Settings thing and Home. Loaded up the diagnostics tool and it's going at 45fps with no performance overhead. Googling and griping later, I tried on a spare account and bam. Suddenly 50% performance overhead.

The way I see it (which obviously won't be how others think), VRfus are unrequited or often the person isn't even aware of it to be capable of responding. Just like a 2D waifu. That's what the term comes from after all.
Once you're past that and have a mutual agreement in place, it turns to VRgf. And for that, as far as I'm concerned whether you do it "seriously to RP", "seriously with IRL endgame goal", or "ironically to have fun" is your own business, just make sure the other party has the same idea.
And no I don't know why I've put that much thought into this. I'm not even interested in taking part in any of that. The only role I'll play is the unrequiting waifu, if someone's unlucky enough to fall for me.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. I didn't have this issue when setting up and don't have the software installed atm (it can cause problems if you don't want to use it). It's strange that you're under the floor - the software never moved my position. Only the hip and feet trackers. Which is why I think you need to restart/ redo setup/ calibration on both Oculus and Driver4VR.

I need to order that PCI expansion card so I can get back on the bandwagon.

So I don't know what the deal is with this. No matter what texture I use for the hair, it looks exactly the same except the color. For example, if I was to instead put the face as the main texture, you wouldn't see the face in the hair, it would just be the skin color, much like how this hair texture only shows up as yellow since it is yellow, but none of the actual texture is there.

I do that a lot too. In my case I don't think it's actual boredom, it's the ADD and the fact that I need two or three different streams of stimuli to keep my mind engaged. Maybe you have the same issue. I really do enjoy the meetups, but it's hard to keep my brain engaged and on task.

There really isn't a good selection of F2p MP games. I think the only one that comes to mind is Rec Room.Big Screen kind of counts too I suppose since it is also a socializing platform. Keytar was actually one of the first to see me working on my camera and so he/she asked how to do it and I just told him/her. It wasn't even me that got it working, it was meeps who I got some hints from on how to do it. Does anyone else not like GORN? I picked it up last night and after an hour of playing all I felt was slightly motion sick.

Is there some appeal I'm not quite getting? I liked nuDoom and other violent games before, but something about GORN is immensely triggering.

Like, as I'm tearing off some gladiator's head (which smiled and taunted me as I separated his cranium from his vertebrae) I was just awash with the feeling of "what the hell are you doing? Why?"

I mean the game runs and plays exactly as advertised, but it just felt wrong somehow. Maybe I'm just not wired for it.

They just become a bit more plump due to the push up mechanic of the bunny suit padding as well as shiro being in a prone position that lets what little boobs she has convex down under the weight of gravity.

Notice how this Yuki Nagato Bunny figure has her boobs small BUT pushed uped by bunny suit pads. This is quite more noticeable if you tilt the figure and peak at the the boobs from above. I like the attention to detail on these 1/7 or 1/8 bunny suit figures.

Yes, but that was years ago. You get used to it and it stays getted.

If you have any inner ear damage including hearing loss you will be less prone to sim sickness because the mismatch is harder to notice. Same reason elderly people get little to no vr nausea.

Well while I was bitching about it for other reasons, it was the worst I've had in GORN. VRChat has calmed down almost entirely though; I don't get almost any nausea there unless I pitch my headset or I drop frames badly.

Games with teleport locomotion and comfort turning will definitely provoke even less response, but other factors can fuck you up. I'm getting a solid 90 fps most of the time and that can be vital to keeping your stomach where it belongs.

Experience will tell you exactly what kind of motion triggers the nausea and if it's self-induced you will start to avoid it out of habit. Jumping in VR still makes my stomach lurch on the "down' part of the jump, so I either don't jump or just close my eyes for a moment on the way down.

Other stuff like smooth turning can be swapped for ballet-style snap turning in the comfort settings of many games including vrchat. Good VR games know what not to do and good VR users know how to manage their own comfort.

I'm running a GTX 1080 Asus ROG Strix 8gb model with an i5-8600k on Windows 10 and using an Oculus Rift.

Note that in some games you'll be limited by bad software. I'll sometimes dip down as low as 45fps in VRC when meetups get stupid crowded, but that's not terrible when there isn't a whole lot of motion going on.

Make the basement a separate area that you enter by clicking a door or a staircase.
Second stories and/or basements that are just a part of the building don't seem to be good in terms of optimization, because even if you have two groups of people they're directly on top of each other and everyone is still being rendered.
But when you have rooms that are far away from each other in terms of map distance, people can separate without having everyone in one big laggy blob.
