Step #1 to fixing eyetracking bugs is ask a friend it might just be the mirrors.

Next check bone hierarchy and names, even if the eye bones are assigned correctly the muscle rig editor is not what VRChat uses for eye moment limits. VRChat will go looking for exactly LeftEye and RightEye and if they don't exist it will fall even if you have working eye bones with different names assigned to the rig.

VRChat also uses the size and position of the eyebones and their relation to the head bone to determine the rest position and the limits to how far the eyes can track, so your problem might just be non-typical bone sizes - find a model that tracks perfectly and do your best in blender to mimic the exact bone sizes and position for both eyes and head.

Lastly if your eyes are solid white grab a camera in avatar testing and push it into your face, your eyes might be tracking fine but the "pupils" pushed behind the "whites". Move the eye white meshes back or the bones forward to fix.

It gets confused if you cross one leg in front of the other and starts doing weird shit.

It rotates your whole body slightly when you rotate your head.

It does not handle foot rotation.

I'm on the final lap of importing my first model

I'm having some issues with colliders though. They seemed fine when I tested them in unity, but in-game the colliders don't seem to do much. My hair keeps clipping into my head and my skirt keeps clipping into my waist.

How big should the colliders be? Should they be equivalent to the radius in which I don't want my hair / skirt entering, or should the colliders be larger? They should be set to outside, right?

I have stiffness set to 0.5, and inert set to 0.9

I finally got around to opening a zip of Nika I downloaded weeks ago and the password was needed in there instead of on Bowlroll, took me by surprise.

calculating a stack of dynamic bones is likely +10 times the the pause for a character's set of draw calls. If you was to be super optimal don't use bones.

Be mindful; shadows, light sources, mirrors, or anything is a IMMEDIATE multiply for the base draw calls and can make things crazy. If you wanna see the effects use the Frame Debugger and just look at the layers of draw calls for any such thing added to the scene.

The best known tutorial for importing mmds is by Tupper, who is currently employed by VRChat. We like to joke about him and call people Tuppered when their import fucks up despite following the steps. Looking at your avatars hair I can assume that your avatar is under 20k polygons, visibly optimized avatars are also worthy of being called tuppered. Assuming you're the same anon, the arms and viewpoint might be an issue that occasionally happens while swapping avatars, fix this by adjusting height in the system menu and then switching it right back to whatever setting you had before.

I want to have an animation override where when I activate it, my entire model disappears. I tried making so the body mesh and the skin mesh renderer is unticked, but this doesn't work, because people can't see my avatar forever after I activate the override (Can still see it locally though )
