The VR forces you to be there. Tabbing out in desktop is easy, but in VR you have to take your headset off and people take pictures of your butt to go afk in VR. I do feel like it contributes to me being willing to be a little more social, but I did not use desktop before I had VR. I know myself though, and I think if I were in desktop I'd spend most of my time tabbed out in the corner.

Was my starting point, but the model was really slim. I crafted the thiccness to perfection myself over past 5 days this week. 40+ hrs in Blender. End result in good lighting with Standard shader attached.

we've been investigating doing it for the mogra map actually... its possible to do it but there are some caveats.

The vrc video sync player accepts an mp4 file so we could technically make our own mp4 file end point which feeds the actual live stream. The video player in mogra already uses a url redirecter so we could just change the url to point to the live stream when mogra streams live. The only issue is that the vrc video player caches all the urls upon load in so those who load in before the url is changed wont be able to load the updated url unless they rejoin the map.

Alternatively I heard you can use the web panels to view live streams off twitch directly, but its buggy and only works for the first web panel with media that your game loads and stops working if you leave the map until you restart the game.

You have to move the bones in blender, it takes a lot of fucking around to get it right. Basically what's happening is your IRL arms are longer than your avatar's arms and VR the full body tracking IK always tries to keep your avatar's hands aligned with your irl hands and ends up pulling the shoulders out of socket. There are a couple youtube video tutorials on how to deal with this but it's basically trial and error.

You'll have to add every character animation to the AvatarControllerTemplate in the Animator. I've never done it myself, but I've seen one guy who got it to work.
Supposedly you can even set one of the gestures to cycle through different gesture wheels, but I wouldn't even know where to begin with that.
