I do. I load my own private instance and talk over my RL problems to myself looking at my anime avatar in a mirror. Often I even do the anime girl voice.

Blender is weird in that transparency will occasionally make materials behind it transparent. This does not translate to Unity or VRChat so don't worry about that. So how does having two atlas work? I was looking at some discussions about this in the archives but I still don't quite grasp it. From what I gathered, I'm suppose to make two TextureAtlas files, one with everything but the transparent textures on it and the other with only the transparent textures on it, while leaving empty spaces for the Blush texture so it doesn't overlap with other textures and vice versa. Then once all that is said an done I just bake as normal and rename both to UVMap so they merge?

I moved my parser over to Excel because it can handle live datastreams much more easily. Plus, its prettier and has some color scaling.

Poly count doesn't really matter under 65K. Material count as low as you can go, but at least under 10. If you have bits with transparency or need a couple of effects on different areas, then you'll probably end up with 2-5 materials, but that's perfectly fine.

Battleship Yamato.
I was disappointed with the map, though, since I'm a boat nerd.
There was absolutely no detailing on any of the guns or anti-air emplacements, they were just untextured grey things.
The biggest disappointment though was the deck, it was just a generic metal texture all over the deck which was a big disappointment because a lot of Japanese ships (including the Yamato) had mostly wooden decks due to the lack of steel. Yamato had a beautiful wooden deck and the map did not even attempt to do it justice.
There was no instrumentation in the control room.

The only thing the map really did right was that it remembered to put the seaplane launching facility in the back of the ship, and I think the scaling was not too far off.

The map had a lot of non-nerd issues with it too, like places where you couldn't climb up or could fall into places you couldn't get out of without respawning.

The galleon map that we were on last week is by far the better of the two boat maps we've been to. thanks for reading my blog
