I have a 1060 3gb just hold SHIFT while launching vrchat and choose desktop low. This puts the VRChat desktop window into low quality settings

Then right click vrchat in steam go to launch parameters and use this setting -screen-width 640 -screen-height 480
Viola you wont ever go above 3 gb vram unless theirs like 30 unoptimized avatars with 16k textures or a retarderdly high vram usage world, which I've never come across either personally. If you do come across this you might have to go from 2.0 super sampling to 1.5 and maybe 1 is the maps really fucking bad.

both optimizations should help you a lot I had a friend go from 15fps to 45fps in a loaded club map full of avatars

Damn this is why I hate trying to debate the legitimacy of things in the thread. So far what has been established is the trash thread was pushed into a discord. I feel like my trackers lately have been dying sooner and have been giving me issues with charging, has anyone else been getting similar problems with long-term tracker use and battery life?

If you use them until they die and then charge from death it will wear out the battery over extended use. Try to charge them when they're at the 20-30% mark and a full charge will last longer when you need it to. The same logic applies to the battery in your cell phone.

I think this is pretty common. Most people here are more comfortable communicating via text since that's what we've been doing up to this point.
