Here's a video that can help with frankensteining if you are having trouble with that. It's what I used.
The only thing I had to do that it didn't appear to cover was that I had to re-align my neck and head bones with the chest to not be scuffed. Maybe there is an easy way to automatically move all the bones that I don't know about, I'm a brainlet.

So eye tracking is going to be a revolutionary technology. I'm really excited by it and I want to share this with everyone! I've actually tried the tech too in VR headsets, but even the demos I've tried did not show the full potential. Read this.

It says just to type that stuff in and then go to the folder where the script is saved and run it. I did the Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned command and even the Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted command. When I run it by right clicking the script and hitting Run with Powershell I took a screenshot and saw that the red text basically says "requested registry access is not allowed."

I know a lot of people here use VR as an escape from real life, but does anyone else here appreciate real life more when using VR? Yes, I find that as well, even though the reason is because VR isn't perfect yet. However, I am also of the mindset that life is beautiful, no matter how ugly it can seem at times. Yet, I find myself still okay with the idea of having my life being taken over by VR. Actually, it already has basically taken over my life, and I'm perfectly satisfied with that fact. I know what's out there still, but I don't mind missing out on it so that I can witness the birth of a new reality with different rules.

Also, people will work to escape their reality with or without VR. Like that mirror from Harry Potter that allowed weak users to perish while they indulged in the fantasies presented in front of them. However at least for right now, I believe VR does, like you say, actually make people appreciate real life more after using it, which can be a good thing.

Because someone helped me fly, I'll help you with my favorite thing: skirt flipping.
1. Set dynamic bone colliders on your wrists, or an empty object on your wrist. Make sure the mode is set to "inside", and set the radius to something fuckhuge like 5.0.

2. Find the bones for the front parts of your skirt.

Example: There are 3 chains for the front part of your skirt, left, middle, and right. Make sure the chains have more than one bone.

4. Set dynamic bones to those skirts using whatever settings you want (I'll post mine later)

5. For each skirt part, go to the part in the dynamic bones component that says "colliders". Drag and drop the armature part (that would either be wrist or the empty object with the collider) that has the collider you want and place it there. This will let the collider interact with the skirt.

6. *TIP* If you have three or more skirt bone chains, set the leftmost skirt bone(s) chain to only have the left wrist/gameobject as a collider, the right skirt bone chain(s) to have only the right wrist/gameobject as a collider, and the middle one to whichever side you prefer.

7. Make a copy of the avatar you want to skirt flip with by copy pasting. You should see AvatarName(1) on the left side if you did it correctly.

8. Hide your first avatar, and click on your AvatarName (1) copy. Hit "Window", then "animation", then create a new animation, then name it whatever you want. A new animation window should pop up with that name you chose.

9. Click "add property", "armature", then follow the lists until you find your wrists. You should see Dynamic Bone collider. Follow the list down until you find radius, and click it. Do this for the other collider.

10. You should now see both colliders on the left panel next to the graph of the animation keyframes. Scroll as far to the right on the keyframes as you can, and delete the keyframe at the 1:00 mark.

11. Move your keyframe marker back to the 0:00 mark. Now, you should see the fuckhuge number you put in step 1. Set that to something astronomically low.

12. Right click on the 0:01 mark and press "add key". It should copy the keyframe from 0:00 to it. Make sure both colliders both have their second keyframes, and make sure they have the same small number for the radius.

13. In your assets, you should see your named animation file. Click on it, and in the inspector tab on the right side of your Unity window, unclick "Loop".

14. Get a copy of the animation override empty file in VRSDK assets, and place the animation file into any of the gestures. I suggest rocknroll since no one uses it. It will override it and cause your fuckhuge collider to shrink on command, and suck the affected dynamic dynamic bones into it.

15. Place your new animationoverrideempty file into your original avatar's Standing and Sitting animations in the VRC Descriptor component.

16. Upload and enjoy flashing streamers and getting them demonetized.

How it works:

The inside colliders will only suck in bones that are outside of its radius. Setting a large radius puts your dynamic bones inside it, and leaves them unaffected. Switching the radius to a much smaller number puts your affected bones outside of it, and sucks it in. Binding it to a hand gesture override lets you do it on command. Very important to make sure that the animation is neither looping, nor is the phantom 1:00 keyframe in your animation. In fact, your animation time for the animation file should be 0:017.

Here's what mine looks like. I've set the size of the bones in the dynamic bone settings on the tie so that there's less of a gap for my hand colliders to slip through, then I've played around with the height and position of the chest collider.

During publishing, my avatar does a weird pose instead of how I left it on blender and upon import to unity.
I'm in the process of uploading and have yet to test in-game but I want to know if it's an issue with anyone else when overriding the default animations.

I'm using anim files from that animation set in vrcmods.
I've looked into them and they seem proper with my model dancing around in the small Unity window.
Got in-game and my avatar is normal so far.
My only issue is that the emotes seem shorter and cut-off earlier than when I was looking at them in Unity.

Hands-on learning is a success, I've achieved something basic, too lazy to polish, and now I'm jumping next to whatever.

Check your animation pane on every override. IIRC every new animation comes with a start and endpoint, delete the endpoint if you haven't (you might have to scroll out a little to spot it).
