Delete the vrc blink shape keys and remake them as an animation component which you can disable when doing overrides. Unless you have full body, then animations are yet another thing that doesn't work.

Then I plugged it in and ran that kinect verificationer thing that said my usb controller was unknown, could only get it to light up and shut down without showing any depth frames. Hello everybody, in the coming weeks I'll be putting on an optimization event.

I was talking with someone from the anime group, and they told me about an event they had where they fit around 80 people into a room and he attributed a lot of their success to the fact that they had a no dynamic bones rule.
We had trouble with weekend with this - the maid event crashed 2-3 worlds before we stabilized at two worlds, and the DJ event had lag trouble to the point where some of us had to flee at the beginning stages.

So what I'd like to do is this - we try to cram as many people in a room with 1-2 materials, 1 mesh, and no dynamic bones and we see what happens.
This won't lead to anyone being a nazi about your avatar at normal meetups, but if it goes well we may want to consider using optimized avatars for popular events in the future so everyone can attend.

If you don't feel like optimizing, I will have a few avatars optimized by me available for use.
I'll also have other festivities planned for the event, including a group picture, to bait those of you who don't care about optimization into showing up.

The other, equally important, purpose of this event is a show of solidarity aimed at freeing our niggas fanisk and kite. For those of you unfamiliar with what happened, the two of them were banned for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fanisk is unbanned but refuses to return until Kite is also unbanned, because he's a principled fellow.

So we're going to take a big group picture and I'm going to send a very nice email to the dev team hoping to show then that Fanisk and Kite are members of our community and not members of whatever community they were mistaken for being in.
If possible, I'm also going to whore out our data from optimization day by trying to get staff to attend so they can collect data about optimization. This aspect of it is still really early and hopefully I will know more later.
