I think they are correct in their thinking they should make there own versions of the tools that everyone wants. However to announce this so far down the road when they had indicated they were nearly finished with play-maker is ridiculous. Sure there has indeed always been VR discussion elsewhere than /vrg/, but consider that if someone wants to discuss VR, and they're aware there's a VR general, they'd likely make a choice between making the post here, or somewhere else. And if they choose both, they'd still likely be more involved in one place than the other. With that said, I think a /vrg/ without shitposting can do more to actually increase VR adoption, I never said that wasn't possible, it's just that it seems anonymous won't let us have that option.

Another neat thing is that if the blades when they clash with another blade it disables them for a bit so it does not damage the player. Seems to be intentional too for blocking and shit to work.

Trying out the Pavlov beta. The dev finally added in Deathmatch and Gungame, along with 3 new weapons:

A $900 revolver that holds 5 rounds and is grossly inaccurate , the $3500 AUG that fires in 3 shot bursts, and the $4200 20 round Saiga 12k shotgun.

The P90 also costs $2600 now, and the M4/AK74 both cost $3200.

TTK across the board on all weapons significantly reduced, as tested on the training range with the armored and unarmored target obelisks. It seems player health was reduced. When testing, the $2000 Kar98k (which replaced the scoped hunting rifle) killed in 2 body shots from up to 50m.
