the game has standard osc midi input. You can listen to the midi on your computer and pass it to shapekeys on a real piano mesh, and in fact, even have your hands do the animations based on which keys you're pressing, finger by finger - if you're willing to do the effort.
You can also use voicemeeter banana to combine your line-input from your instrument with your mic so that the audio is nice and clear.

the latency in vrc is pretty decent. If you ever watch a movie with others the difference is minor at best.
One way to solve that issue is to use again voicemeeter banana. It has a VBAN system for creating network audio layers that are next to zero latency - and stream from that to that to a video panel and out into the world so that for listeners it's synced, and for us it's on a low latency connection.

Electronauts from survios manages to do this somehow as well with 2 player setups, and ubisoft has audio really figured out for there stuff too.
Speaking of electronauts, I remember an anon from here mentioning they had it. I do too, and love the shit out of it, but have noone to play duos with.

replace your sit emote or the prone crawl with a sleeping animation from mixamo. Download it on ybot or xbot and pull the .anim out from the fbx, then apply it to your customoverrideempty avatar controller template in whatever gesture or triggered animation change you want. It's definitely a good game in my opinion, I've thoroughly enjoyed playing it and I still am enjoying it right now, even though i'm terrified of it.
I can completely understand your getting lost though, some areas were pretty convoluted, especially when I came across some weird abandoned underground fort thing, which had iron bar walls and cells that would get very confusing.

Now, there's a website called HeroForge which allows you to make custom characters for tabletop miniature games and then order them as 3D printed/metal cast models for you to really use IRL. They also offer the option of simply downloading an ".stl" file which is apparently the digital model data of the character you have designed. It would come without any textures because it is meant to be turned into a 3D printed plastic model.

Would it be possible to take that ".stl" and turn it into a working character for other games such as for example VRchat?
Is it impossible?
Is it possible but would involve a huge amount of work?

I just wonder because I have no talent myself for this sort of thing but I have used this service in the past to make a model of my favourite DnD character and it would very cool, to me, if I could somehow use her in VRC.

I have a dumb question about VRChat that I think it's important to get an actual answer on.
I know people can steal avatars and crash the game with custom scripts. It's not cool, but it makes sense that it's possible, I get that. But for awhile I've been seeing people claim that they also experience everything from full on PC crashes to "Hackers on VRChat attempting to fry my PC", that is to say people crashing someone and then attempting to overheat the system and fry it either when the game is frozen or when the game is crashed or closed completely. I get the logistics behind why someone would be able to steal another players avatar as the unique IDs can be copied and pasted into an account with hacks. I get how crashing the game for someone else might work with custom code among other things. But everything beyond that sounds like urban legend shit to me. None of the rest of that shit is actually possible is it? From a software standpoint I can't see any of it working the way people claim it does. That shit is scared people making poor decisions about the world around them in moments of extreme stress, yeah?
