I did the FBT fix with Cats addon before I moved the knee bones, so I'm wondering if the bone at the hip that the FBT fix created needs to be moved as well since it replaces the original upper leg? If so, which way do I move it?

Catching up: yes there is. You need to do a show hidden verts, or select hidden verts. There are ways to invert selections too. For example, you could set the view to "visible only" after moving the body to hide the broken verts, select those, then turn "visible only" off and select inverse.

It's much easier in metaseq. The main issue is that MMD models are setup for bind pose instead of t pose by default and their arms move differently, that's why there's so many bones. It's for more realistic physics.

if you base your model on a basemesh that has a t pose first by default, you'll have an easier time. Even if you move the clothing from an MMD to keep your look, using a basemesh that was originally T pose will help.

Dude who was asking about Kinect help a little while ago;

I've made great progress, I managed to figure out that there's been more than one kinect and that mine is the older Kinect V1 360 model, which made looking for help significantly easier!
I was directed to a program called driver4VR which i've been using the free demo of and I can say that it is WORKING, mostly.
I now have incredibly glitchy FBT, though it isn't full 360 degree FBT because the kinect always assumes i'm facing it, so things get a bit body-horror if I turn around... and the tracking sweetspot is about 5" wide, any further or closer and things go to shit. But it has been fun messing around with it.
I suppose it's better than nothing though, considering I just dug this old kinect out from under the stairs.

I tried setting it to symmetrical and that ended up making it weird as well. Also, I'm not sure why but this model's face goes transparent whenever I press GLSL/Shadeless option under MMD shader. How do I fix that? It seems like that actually affects my avatar in some of the worlds.
