Can never seem to figure out why my PC is reserving 4GB of memory. I have to not have a battery on my motherboard and start my PC with default bios settings just to have my memory. Faith, may he RIP in peace. He critiqued my avatar but did it in a nice way and gave me tips on how to make it better with weight painting, dynamic bone settings and shader settings that made my avatar look way better in the end. He’s also the only one that’s helped me break into the group by waving me over and making a place for me when there’s a circle of people talking, he was very good at noticing people in the background like me.

Nano is also very kind and it’s always fun to show him what I’ve done to my avatar and to also see what he’s done to his avatar. He’s incredible at making avatars that are both unique but also very pretty with amazing textures and shaders. Definitely one of, if not the best when it comes to having themed outfits. His headpats are also incredible.

But somehow I'm way too fucking tall in the game. Like head and shoulders above the bots and I can't reach the table properly at the start.

As far as I can tell the main difference gameplay wise is that pavlov is just smoother and has infinite ammo, and onward is wonky and more customization options with a bit extra freedom of movement.

Gunplay wise they handle almost identically.

Vox is missing a dew quite basic weapons systems such as grenade launchers, mine layers, flamethrowers, plasma cannons etc. Just adding new weapons would create depth in the gameplay.

The main difference seems to be the maps, which is on pavlovfags for making shit maps.

csgo for example is csgo because of the extremely simplistic nature of the game play. you have a gun and some grenades, there's no sights or cover mechanic. you just all have the same basic default guns. and you go at it.

pavlov doesn't retain anything similar to this level of simplicity.

in pavlov you have unlimited ammo and it takes a lot more bullets to kill someone and generally smaller maps and on S&D the first round is pistol round as you cant buy a rifle for $900
in Onward you have limited ammo and can die in a couple shots with much bigger maps and can have a full set up in the first round of S&D

SMGs are a bit sketchy, but the smgs in onward are wonky too.

and 9mm bullets do not instantly stop people. shooting someone in the chest, (supposedlyt someone with any sort of bulletproof armor/vestment) is not going to instantly put them down.

but as you said which I already claimed, the main difference is the maps. but you could recreate those maps in pavlov too technically, people just don't.

Had to install the github add-on that remaps movement to the sticks. Thats how I got that bit working I mentioned before.
And for the height issue I did this:

So on the topic of music nights / dance nights / etc, I talked with someone from another community that has their own events like this, and the way they do it is that they have everyone join a discord voice channel where a bot plays the music for the night.

I don't think discord is viable for this purpose for us for various reasons, but what may be viable is a web-based music streaming page where everyone participating can join and stream the music for the night.

The ONLY defensive maneuver in the game is to move. There is no method of healing and nothing defensive you can do to prolong your own life therefore even the tankiest grinder dies eventually if he can't avoid fire.
What this means is that ability to avoid fire is the sole largest influence multiplier of what a grinder can achieve on its own.
The Hopper isn't the "highest skill ceiling" grinder, it's the one that has the EASIEST TIME AVOIDING FIRE, therefore has the easiest time applying its damage. It has no extra mechanics that other grinders don't have, its weapons and its movements aren't any harder to use or any more nuanced. The hopper isn't any harder to use than any other choice.

I would expect either a nerf to the hopper's prolonged flight abilities or a massive overhaul to the whole grinder system in the future, as it is there's actually no real point using anything but a hopper.
