It doesn't help that the people behind the split were just looking to cause trouble and it fizzled out as soon as they got bored of bumping it because they didn't get the reaction they were looking for.
A split needs people behind it that are serious about it. I think at this point it's much too early though, and non-vrchat games still need to pull people from vrchat to fill the lobbies.

I think the two biggest obstacles to a split right now are the fact that such a thread isn't fast enough to sustain itself and that the vrchat people are the ones that do the most work promoting other games getting played.

I don't know anon, the forest playthrough recently was pretty fun. Couple of anons joined that I had never met before, but everyone played nice and just had fun murdering zombies and building autism forts. At any time one of those random anons could have nuked the bases or been assholes, but they played nice because the finite number of anons with VR means they have to be functional enough to get VR. Have some more faith or at least give some a shot before robbing yourself of the chance to find out.

For me on the Rift, I get the best results when putting as high as possible and pointing down.

Alright anons, its going to be workshop Wednesday again, but this time it is going to be on Tuesday. Unlike the other week, going to try and schedule it for just one day, and if it drags past that then that is just how things turn out. Want to try and schedule at least one thing like workshop, then one game weekly, but full time jobs are actually full time jobs. So far the Koikatsu progress has been mixed. The workshop has been anons exchanging knowledge, good programs to use ect, so Koikatsu ripping just keeps improving and changing as anons keep suggesting different ways to do it faster. Tutorial will be as soon as we can get a final super fast and brainlet friendly way of exporting models out. Specifically for VR no, but Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally, and PCars 2 are all pretty solid racing sims. Which one is best for you depends on what you're looking for though. I've heard good things about Elite: Dangerous and IL2 in VR as well, but I haven't tried them yet.

Thats actually an amazing idea, if you want to make friends in VRchat you are pretty much forced to chuck yourself into an already existing conversation some way or another. This is a good place for newbies or people who don't feel like putting in the effort and could be quite popular.

That and Creed are the only boxing games worth buying. In terms of realistic boxing simulations, TotF is easily the best. Creed's AI is easily gamed, but it has multiplayer against other humans that works really well. Depends on what specifically you're looking for.

VTOL VR still the best flight sim I've played.

I was very skeptical but that was quite a bit of fun. As an introvert it felt way better interacting with people one on one like that. If anything the time went by too quick.
Only real suggestion I have is that I wish NA was way earlier. Have a hard time I can stay to on Sundays and had to go after the one round.

The NA event was amazing. It was a lot more wholesome than I thought. Only gripes I had was that it was over too soon. Thanks to the anon who recommended MasterPieceVR earlier, I have yet to figure out how to use it properly or make anything detailed like in its trailers, but it is quite a good piece of software. To add, you don't really need to atlas if you have less than 10 materials. Try just combining materials first to see if that gets it down to less than 10. What matters the most for performance is whether you have dynamic bones or not. Those are the real frame killers. If you've got a skirt, you can weight paint it.

Regardless of how good it is, this will be true assuming it even exists. It's not going to sell anywhere near as well as the previous games because you're going to need a VR headset to even play it. I think you're overestimating how much know how liquid cooling rig requires, if the dude knows how to blender and unity basics they shouldn't have trouble wrapping their head around the idea of liquid cooling system, the only real risks are the system leaking due to skimming at the wrong parts and having loose connections in the system, apart from that the systems setup is pretty simple if you follow the guides

Technically assuming that it is just air system if the ventilation for the whole case is done proper the heating shouldn't go to too critical levels, you'd be surprised what you can pull off of a well ventilated air right too, i admit it will eat up some years of usage for the components in long use over long periods of time if the temps stay high but apart from that a proper air vent case should be able to handle the temps, but pretty much all overclocking eats years from components even the factory default ones

I haven't tried BoxVR yet but I don't think I could punch much with my left arm like this. It's mostly when I lift my arm up and to the left or do quick forward motions, so punching is out. I missed the boat on VRchat and now I find it too hard to get into a group. Just raw chatrooms without any other goal aren't really my thing anyway.

Seems like a fun, slower alternative to Pavlov and Contractors (even gun game feels slow), but I guess it could be sped up with some good old teamwork and coordination.
