Well, I'm going off some pretty ancient memories of Warframe here, but I'd assume it would first need a first-person mode so that you properly have the view of the frame, and then it's just a matter of finding the right balance between the added capabilities of being in VR (for example being able to fire not where the screen is pointing) vs the game as a whole.
Also Warframe might just move too fast for the average person in VR, so care would be needed to not simply turn people off of it at first because they're sick to their stomach from moving so quickly.

To solve this issue, I made an android app that simplifies the process. It adheres to the API guidelines, even though it doesn't look like anyone is actually taking these seriously.
Currently it's in open beta, because I want feedback from /vrg/ first. I plan to add a lot more features soon.

You will need to use something like a Postman app in order to add an authorization header with your credentials.

Honestly I'd go with a Bluetooth headset even with the possible interference.
From my experience with the Rift + Trackers is that it doesn't affect it much in the end and the benefit of not having yet another cord tying you down is real nice. Could easily be my own setup just doesn't have much chance for things to go back though.

As for the specific headphones themselves, I have a pair of Insignia Headphones that I picked up at Best Buy when my Rift headphones bit the bullet, and they've been steady and good quality so far.

What would be the ideal HMD? I personally would wish for more USB ports, built-in wireless, with the possibility to hook a power cord when needed, some modularity in mind, maybe no built in headphones like DAS has.

36 year old guy here that's just started trying out VRChat.

Very TL;DR backstory: I have been on the internet ever since the days of ISDN and have always been a gamer. I even had a long period where I watched plenty of anime (not anymore though for a long time now). Stuff like memes, Pepe and all that shit hasn't gone by unnoticed by me, either. I'd like to think that I still am in touch with the younger generation on the net. Until VRChat proved me wrong.
90% of the stuff I come across in VRChat that makes everyone giggle their asses off doesn't even manage to entice a slight smile from me. Just walking up to someone, pointing a finger at them and loudly exlaiming "Gay!" seems to make everyone in the room laugh, while I stand there and struggle to fit in with the "fun".

The next thing that massively confuses me this "guys playing anime girls" stuff, and traps. I get why there is guys playing girls, that's cool and all. I understand that. But why is it so funny to everyone when someone gets "trapped"? I mean.. isn't it kinda obvious? Besides that, there is people laughing and making fun of the trap thing while at the same time, they give each other lap dances. MP, KT, and S&P have a maximum range of about 20 meters with an AK in Pavlov. Beyond that they're among the worst. Made a breakthrough in beat saber today. For some reason, I had it in my head that the scoring system wanted you cut through the blocks roughly in the middle of the saber with wide swings. It works for a lot of swings, but in the high pp meta of long up/down drumming sections, i was getting really poor scores, like 60 per cut on average. I was moving my hands down to about knee height to try to get maximum velocity cutting through, but still couldn't get 100+ with any consistency.

I figured out today though that if you instead hold your hands at about belly height and hit the drumming sections with the tip of the saber, more like a whip motion, it'll give you the 100+ scores you desire. I dunno why I didn't realize this before, but it's definitely upped my game. at the expense of some accuracy, since i'm trying to flick the tip of my saber through all of the blocks now.

I was totally like that at first. I'm still getting comfortable around a lot of people, but what I've done so far is:
-joined in on anime/movie nights, gives you chances to interact before/during/after the show with people who enjoy the same stuff you do
-hung out in Pugs with an interesting avatar and had random people come up and start talking; most aren't worth it but occasionally you get to talk to interesting people

Having a few people you're comfortable with in /vrg/ from anime and movie nights helps a lot with integrating into larger meets, but I'm still not there yet although I'm getting a lot more comfortable.
