If that's not enough, you could also run two hoses (intake and output) from a window to your face. A quick search says a brown paper back full of fresh coffee grounds can remove odors. Vinegar would be stronger, but liquid might break the headset. I don't know how long it would take to air out with a big fan pointed at it, but you might as well do that and run it 24/7.

In terms of the systems, still a whole lot closer than games like Gorn, which has unrealistic physics as an excuse. The main thing about Boneworks and Nimsony's stuff that sets them apart is the complete package of different control and physics VR game concepts brought into one system, but some are arguably more important that not many other games do. Blade & Sorcery has rather fine collisions for almost all objects and bodies, which is one of those more important things. The physics B&S aren't the best in general however, so if you improve that, and add in climbing, it'll be pretty much the same in terms of the complete package of things you can do and how well you can do them.

That's true to an extent, but Boneworks has been in development for quite a while, and is still in development, and so have/are many of the other "more complete packages". And just saying that it's taking old ideas and adding something on doesn't mean it takes any less work. In fact it may take more work to do well (for possibly funner results as a consequence of the combination of concepts being inherently more fun than one that is isolated). Those older innovations aren't even really innovative in terms of concept, either. What makes each of them special is that they were actually translated into working software. Then there's the gameplay, and although it did some unique things like encouraging you to move around to get a look at things, and giving your own character some interactivity with the environment AND enemies at the same time that you control Quill, the puzzles were mostly self explanatory, the combat mechanics weren't deep at all (basically just attack, dodge, rinse and repeat), and there isn't really any value/purpose to the collectibles or secrets. I'd say all it does exceptionally well are the environments and the character of Quill, and what she can do with you. There are a lot of cute little moments between you and her and I appreciated that.

I just used a controller to drive around my first practice run and I feel like the handbrake is important enough that Ill have to pick one up soon and settle with a button map for now. It's a sort of home world that you can lightly customize. Oculus Dash is probably what you're thinking of, it lets you display your desktop monitors and drag individual windows around and interact with them. However, you need motion controls to actually use the dash, and even if you find a way around that, the DK2 resolution is going to suck for doing really anything.
