I am so god damm lonely. I cried in vr while playing minecarft because I tamed a dog and named it after my real dead dog that died years ago.

so I tried vr for the first time yesterday on a Vive Pro. it was alright. had a go on google earth, which was pretty cool. then me and a mate did coop on windlands, i liked that also, the swinging spiderman like motion was very satisfying. the FOV on the Pro was worse than what I was expecting, really felt like looking at everything through a snorkel, so the lack of peripheral vision meant figuring out your location in relation to things was more awkward than I was hoping

altogether it was about 10 times more absorbing and satisfying than regular gaming

will probably buy a new pc and index next year

Probably a longshot because I know everyone involved with VR development is retarded, but are there any niche little github projects or something for something as basic as hotkey integration in game? Like a window I can open up that'll stay persistent in anything I open, with a list of keyboard commands I can create and label, and access purely with my motion controllers?

Recently redid my proportions for FBT. The halfway point is the tail of the hip bone, the base is the tail of the ankle bone, and the top is the top of the head without any hair volume. After that, if the balls are too far above your feet, lengthen the arms, if they're below, shorten the arms.

Unless the proportions are unusual, this should put your head and torso in the correct place too.
