The key thing I did was to atlas every tiling texture, then cutting up the mesh into evenly sized quads to apply the tiling manually, though to get effective culling it is wise to plan your layout around it, which is what the houses do as they block a lot of view and therefore avatars.

There are a few more tricks so I may do a commentary kinda thing soon, but i kinda want to take a bit of a breather for now.

I guess this is Counter-Strike for ya, but I find it to be way too fucking tiring sometimes. The only way to escape this shit is to be proficient with deagle/revolver. Contractors feels fair, when I die I know I fucked up and when, in Pavlov I mostly feel like there's some bullshit RNG behind half of the shots. Or like it's a rhytm minigame you have to get right everytime and anything lower than 100% is a fail.
Recoil shit is so tiring too, especially with bullshit like P90 kicking to the right for no reason when the gun is popular for being very low recoil.
I can't believe I spend hundreds of hours playing this game when I haven't enjoyed myself since God knows how long.
