I just tried the Quest today, and I'm kind of on the fence about it. I wouldn't say it's a better VR experience than my CV1 on the same games. While the resolution bump and lenses are nice, as is the wireless, the weight, and the hand accuracy and precision just don't feel up to my demands for moving around fast. But to answer your question we do on occasion play on the aforementioend community servers; EU plays every Tues/Thursday/Sunday at 1pm EST. Hi so to expand on this, we were playing Code Vein in OVRdrop/dashboard while I was streaming to the video player. I isolated the sound and all that such that all you could hear over the stream was the game sound.

I was playing in OVRdrop so no worries about stream delay, the stream was simply there for other people to see.
I can't think of any reason why we can't use this to have basically VR lan parties with games like CSGO/Halo/LoL/etc

if you put a small weight (like a battery pack) on the back of the headrest and use a silicon cover, the front heavy weight becomes less of a problem. It weighs as much as a vive+ das. Balance is the issue.
With the 75hz refresh (and lower photon latency) it also has lower system requirements than other headsets without sacrificing smoothness of motion.
The controller tracking is better than WMR by a lot. I'm not sure why you were having precision issues, it's very, very good. I've never had issues.
I have many headsets and controllers from the index to the vive tot he rift to wmr to compare it to and it stands up there. I would say it has better smoothness of motion than the wmr does due to the lack of ghosting, even when wmr is at 90hz.

Spas was repeatedly nerfed in damage, fire rate, and pellet count making it totally useless, so would you prefer it returns to its useless state, despite not even being particularly strong now?

AUG was massively buffed to become the strongest, but cheapest rifle by the addition of full auto. Raising the price was attempted, but this was not liked, so the damage was reduced instead.
MP5 required 5 shots to remove the helmet, which combined with the percentage based damage through helmets massively penalized headshots.

Saiga was very overpriced, but may be too powerful now with both reduced price and increased damage.

Revolver change is very extreme, so I can understand not liking it on principle.

I just noticed Radeon has an official VR streaming tool built in to their graphics driver, as part of ReLive.
It's essentially ALVR but only works on very specific devices, some of which are just android phones, which is basically what the Quest is.

Okay, i'm convinced. Link is going to be a success. Why do I say that? Because for the past two hours i've been messing with ALVR and it exceeded my expectations and that was with several issues in the way of it running smoothly.
To start with, I wasn't using 5ghz wifi, which is extremely recommended by my desktop which was running the ALVR server doesn't support it, so 2.4ghz was all I had access to.
The image quality was trash and there was some minor input delay but it was fucking nothing.
With Link getting official support from Oculus and Valve it can only be better.

I played GORN, I didn't feel ill, it was working fine it just looked like i'd rubbed jam in my eyes. I am now extremely hopeful for that fucking link update.

We’d like it to be fully 100% anonymous too but a system to facilitate it escapes us at the moment. If anyone has a suggestion on how it can be done in a virtual environment that’ll be great.
