Alright anons, I just woke up 20 minutes before I have to go to work, and I had to scramble to get all of this shit together before work, thankfully with more rest comes a clearer mind. Workshop will continue as it has, but I am going to try and figure out the mini lesson thing, because of the event happening soon, there will be a hunk of /vrg/ missing, so we can figure out what to do without. Going to try and refine the Koikatsu process some more with the help of some of the shader fags around here, so if you ware one of those shader/ripping fags, please show up, want to get that down tight. Dual games, or hosting two of them together keeps running smoothly, I was concerned giving more time for pavlov would let the salt sink in, but anons just keep screwing around, playing the game semi-casually, and having fun. Pavlov mixed with a second game works well, Rec Room has vibed with that mix as well. I know this one is crazy, but I could try and work in a late late night game, a third game for the wagies. Not everyone gets home on a Friday at the same time. It could be the forest or one of the others that anons vote for. What is best to do in Pavlov if you're the last alive, completely outmatched, and have no chance of winning by the objective? If your team is getting stomped, grabbing two decent weapons is worthwhile if the timer is low but eco and saving isn't important enough for one gun or some SMGs to matter much. Only bug I've run into so far is if you try to catch a mag as you eject it but grab and switch hands you're holding the gun in before it has fully ejected, it'll freeze the mag in the air and you won't be able to get it back. Other than that and some trees not being seated on the ground properly, everything runs smoothly. There's a bit more of a hand-holdy tutorial but once it's over you have free reign of the radius.
They made a change really early on that I didn't like with the reflector anomalies shooting lasers instead of just shrapnel. Really wish they'd change it back.

Playing with /vrg/ is going to be a difficult way to get into Pavlov, they're better than most pub players because most pub players are complete mouthbreathers and they play reguarly so know the maps well. There's a lot you just won't learn in those 10 or 20 hours, little things that rarely get a chance to be tested, map specific strategies or the ability to predict what the regular players will do in a given situation. There will always be more to learn that will make you a better player where better performance will follow. Sometimes it's also just about finding what works well for you, which sites you are better at defending, which guns you can control and whether you prefer virtual stock or not. These will all change in a period of time much longer than 20 hours. I started with those k/ds of 0.1 or 0.2 and maybe got it to 0.5 at 20 hours if I was playing well, 100 hours later with incremental improvements along the way and it rarely drops below 1.0. 100 hours sounds like a long way but regular weekly play quickly racks that up.

it's not really, I'm in the closed alpha. Everything I'm about to say is on the steam page, but I can tell you it works.
It has climbing and full body movement mechanics, basically borrowed from other games, you hop to jump, you can run and slide, you arm swing to sprint, but also tank locomotion, it has a physical backpack to keep items in, you can snap accessories onto your guns, which is really nice, limited ammo, a real circle threat, and vehicles.
One big difference is a nice lobby with a livestream tv you can fuck with.
I can say they're hoping to include FBT support, so that's something.
