Just tried a Quest. I'm appalled by how uncomfortable it is by default, and how underwhelming the boost in resolution is. It really is not much of an improvement over the Rift CV1, and the lenses don't seem that much better to me either. Maybe it's because it's been a while since I used a CV1 though. I made a tree landscape all around with a bit of fog from the light setting to make it seem distant, while testing my world in both desktop and VR, you can see the tree from a distance in desktop mode just like in unity but not in VR mode, the tree are just gone unless you get very close to see them appear, it doesn't seems to be LOD related.
