Some use it daily, I play VR games and stream it to some in there and it gives them a perspective on what to buy, the "net good" vs the bad is much better. Meat puzzles

For Dead Effect 2 VR, there is a ton of settings regarding smooth/teleport motion, snap or amooth turning etc.
You can scroll the setti gsmenu for more settings.
I recommed smooth loco and smooth turn if you can handle it.
You should also change reload type to "Fully manual" meaning you need to eject the old mag, grab a mag from your chest and slap it in.
You can eject amag and reload anytime, but ammo don't carry over and is limited. So not managing reloads will have you drop half filled mags and burn thru ammo.
Auto eject mag is a good thing if you get ammo shortages, as that will make the mag drop when empty,and gun is ready for a new fresh one.
Also remember to buy new guns if you don't find any. Upgrade your gesr/weapons and character, there is alot of RPG mechanics in this game and it will give you an edge.
Gear rarity is standard grey/green/blue/orange/purple.

I've never understood what that is even supposed to mean. What kind of discussions are those supposed to be, and how could that ever be a problem, or why can't you just join in on the discussion? Why not bring up topics yourself?

I mean no matter what you missed, after a minute or so of intently listening to the context, even if you missed the start, you should be able to join a discussion. Or, if that's too hard, you can also simply ask what people are talking about.
For it to be bothersome, it must either happen for a long time, or simply a lot. If that discussion lasts a long time, then all the better because you can gather context clues more easily. If it happens a lot for a short time, then, yeah, I guess that's unfortunate for you, but at the same time it only happens for a short time, so whatever, if you miss out on a few minutes of a discussion? Well, that assumes that you don't just run away after that and can enjoy the subsequent discussion which you should be able to understand from the context you gathered while physically being there and listening to the previous discussion, of course.

It is really mysterious to me what these cases are supposed to look like. I imagine someone walking into an office where people have been talking about cooking for an hour but you stand there in a daze, not picking up on it even after them mentioning incredients, cooking utensils and techniques, their favourite foods, et cetera. (that's the case of the long discussion).
And I imagine you joining two people talking while they are talking about an anecdote that happened to them the day before, but that anecdote is over after a minute (short discussion).

Make sure you have finished the first 2 missions and have access to Co-Op lobbys/the ship map.
We gonna start with level 3 and fight our way forwards togheter on medium/Hard and increase the difficulty depending on how it goes.
If we are more then 3 players, make a new lobby and join on that one.
You have to make a new lobby for each mission, so after each mission. Get to the other mission and search for the lobby. It will probably be the only lobby there.

You can actually do something crazy if you are just gonna use thier world.
You can make an avatar which drops a world object on load at the spawn point that perfectly aligns multiple planes that overlaps very slightly higher on the images on the portraits of the map and replace it with your own pictures that you prefer.

Rip the map and use that as base for the avatar system you have. So you don't need to recreate the map just place the overlays on it.

The reason it's moderated the way it is is because a discord server should not take away from the thread. I’ve been playing with Quest Link and it’s definitely cooler than the regular Quest, but games frequently hiccup and the connection drops (saying the connection the device was lost or even that I’m not connected to USB3 anymore) and idk if that’s my computer shitting the bed, or the Link software shitting the bed, or chink USB cables shitting the bed. I have a 2080Super and an i9 so the specs should be fine.

Index headset is pretty great, the audio, the mic, the fov and the resolution. Quest on the other hand can be used wirelessly for VRChat and has better blacks. Quest Link is mostly competing with Rift S.

As for the controllers I'm getting pretty fed up with Index controllers and would prefer Touch controllers for many games.

It's not really wonky, but it is technically worse and requires a lot more USB bandwidth. Other than that and ease of using FBT, it's generally considered to be better in every way than the Vive.

Clipping is more similar to the issue of picking up heavy objects in vr with ease. But using buttons and other forms of input instead of grabbing things naturally are more immersion breaking.
