Virtual reality is expensive, for some of us who earned ours, watching somebody mooch to get it is annoying, it makes neets a painful reality, why do you think /v/ hates VR, they are poorfags.
I've been on unemployment before. It's really useful as a bridge to your next job, but takes an emotional toll from feeling like a useless leech. Looking back at my Steam game hours from that era really drives home how you can only play a game to 4chan standards by being a NEET.

Finally giving in and installing Win10 since I bought a m2 nvme SSD back on Black Friday after my previous SSD died and thought I might as well since going to be installing a fresh OS anway. Only had 2 issues ever back on Win7. (Needing to add a KB hotfix bypass while installing Oculus and recently couldn't play Last Labyrinth due to a Win7 only unity error "failed to load il2cpp") Between first game couldn't play, support ending both from MS/Oculus, and it's been long enough for people to strip/disable most of Win10s nonsense.
So question to those on or know about playing VR on Win10 LTSC. Couldn't really find much on this elsewhere. Is there any issues running VR and VR games on LTSC or should I just go with Pro version and strip down the bloatware from there? And if there is any specific update build to install and stay on for either LTSC/Pro incase a later update has fucked PC performance in general.

So I hear a lot about Oculus Quest link having stuttering problems.
However, I managed to fix it (for myself) by either minimizing the desktop mirror of the game or full-screening something over top of it. Could it be that the desktop is still being streamed to the quest even when a desktop window isn't open in VR? It would explain how USB bandwidth is being eaten up.

Beat saber hard through expert level used to have a lot more movement so it was actually a workout. Creed you actually have to have power and follow through in your punches. Blade and Sorcery you've got dodge, block, parry, cleave, and then the good ol' beating them to death by slamming their face against a wall. Hell the game we just had of recroom's paintball we were darting around the playspace to dodge paintballs and getting styled on by someone who was basically Neo. VR is an active passtime. H3 enemies suck dick too, but at least they fight back, play one hit mode with limited ammo and you'll notice stealth comes in handy, and so do the much more responsive guns and melee weapons. Breach scene is also more dynamic than anything Boneworks offers.
The only challenge in boneworks is doing a melee only run and collecting all of the ammo, but if you enjoy doing crap like that you should probably just hang yourself.
There are ways to make H3VR fun if you make your own challenges and have a bit of imagination. Boneworks is a drag from start to finish and the game gives you absolutely no options to make your own fun.

It appeals to those people in particular because it allows them to have new interactions with regular game objects. A gun in Gmod is either just a view model that spits out bullets or a prop that spits out bullets while you awkwardly try to move it around with the physgun/whatever it's attached to. A gun in Boneworks is flexible; It's a regular gun, a gun you can hold like a retard, a melee weapon, a makeshift stilt, it can hook onto things, it's a throwing weapon and because the AI is shit it can also be a tripping hazard. You'll know if you're the kind of person to enjoy those extra interactions if you find yourself using the barrel of your gun or end of a melee weapon to tip the trash cans over rather than walk up to them to look inside.
Where it's lacking is everywhere outside of the basic interaction. The enemy variety is very poor, the level design is bland and it leaves out too many standard game conventions that could have been fun like the explosive barrels >>278962869 mentions. That's only because devs are retarded/lazy. IK works very well and aligns quite closely to the real elbow positions when you use a good IK system with the right body proportions. They could easily do a calibration step that gets your body proportions for this purpose.

An RPG system that's geared towards player run scenarios with a human GM. As far as multiplayer goes, we've only got shooters that are meant to be played in competitive 5v5 scenarios and don't really do a whole lot with VR interaction. Onward has some interesting mechanics like using syringes to revive teammates, Pavlov has the bomb and the clippers, Contractors has re-stocking ammo, but that's about it. There isn't really a game where you feel like you're in a Virtual Reality. I think something like Escape from TarkoVR could work, because it would force you to interact with the surroundings, and it would introduce the element of unknown which would hide the small playerbase. I'm gonna get (You)'d for saying it, but in a way I think Stand Out Battle Royale is the most VR VRFPS shooter.
Other games lack customization, some sort of teamwork VR mechanics, they're basically lazy knock-offs of casualized flat games, where VR begs for something more in-depth.

It's so much better with AA batteries. When they get low on power you don't need to recharge and wait 1-2 hours to play again. Instead just plub in some new batteries and boom 2 seconds and then your controllers work again.
