it's ok to go through, doesn't seem to have much variety. Just stabbing things in the head, while scavenging mats and doing fetch quests. maps seem to be 1-block areas with 1 or 2 interiors per. Stabbing things feels pretty good for the most part and is simplified from things like B&S. the graphics are nice and clean with a uniform cartoony style similar to the Telltale games. Dealing with human enemies sucks, all ive seen just try to rob you but are easy enough to deal with to the degree it's pointless.

I think it comes down mostly to who the netcode is favoring. There's a /vrg/ player who never seems to take damage properly and has impossible accuracy. Either they've got some hacks that aren't too suspicious most of the time, or the netcode is usually broken in their favor. Occasionally there's something absolutely outragous like them fucking up a reload in front of three enemies, tanking tens bullets while they redo it, then killing all three opponents without taking any damage at all.

The built in mic is fine, but pavlov voice is pretty unreliable and there's no way to tell if you're transmitting with the right input in game. It's only voice activation in game, with a walkie talkie button on your shoulder which you can use for radio squaks.

You can use openvr advanced settings to set up a push to talk binding if you run the game through steam vr

I went to their "VR burn" thing a few months ago. The visuals the artists do is kind of cool, music is ok depending on the DJ. However, the limited selection of rayman avatars aren't really conducive to dancing, unlike vrchat music events. And sometimes you get stuck in the instance with 0 people in it instead of the full 32 person instance.

There are a lot of dedicated DJs doing live events though so if that's your thing it's not bad. Just less good than VRChat for general social stuff, or dancing.

To be honest VR porn (both videos and games) has had way less of an impact than I would have thought. You'd think coomers would be flocking to VR in droves and smut would proliferate like rabbits, but the coom scene in VR is pretty anemic. For me, it's the Valve Index. The best VR headset. I even ask for controller RMAs and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for RMA and they gave me advanced replacement. I said, "Wow, advanced replacement!" and the nice friendly Valve worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you advanced replacement!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's advanced replacement!" and ALWAYS give me advanced replacement. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere on the Valve support chat, I go there at least 3 times a year for thumbstick drift and maximum deadzone, 1-2 times for thumbstick clicks, and maybe once for tracking loss when I'm in a rush but want a great controller that is affordable, reliable, and can match my daily VR needs.

I even have a backup pair, it's handy! What a great company.

I saw Gabe Newell at a grocery store in Bellevue, Washington yesterday. Moss is a solid puzzle platformer with a cute story. You're basically controlling the mouse with your joystick and occasionally reaching into the world to interact with stuff with your hands. Mechanically it's not as polished as a zelda, but I'd compare it to something like Trine, or Inside. It's pretty much Pavlov lite in the same way VRChat and Beat Saber are. Dave's maps are trash, but with custom aim/orange/fy_ maps it could be a blast. Balance's even more out of the window than in regular Pavlov due to Holos replacing Scopes for the same price (AUG is basically 1800$). Also it has a retarded matchmaking that puts you against players worldwide, pretty much like /vrg/.
