There was an update so you'll need to reinstall stuff. Update BS to 1.9 then rerun modassistant to get the latest mods. You'll probably need to then run ipa.exe in the root of your steam beatsaber folder.

I had this problem for months now that my Vive Pro keeps fogging up especially while I perform physical activities in VR. I tried to create a better seal against my face but my face is very round and flat. I have found that sweating profusely has maybe caused the seal to get saturated with salt but it is difficult to clean. I tried breathing on the lenses but they only fog up more with the moisture in my breath. This might sound a bit weird but if I take off my head set and fart into it gently, the warm air seems to clear the lenses pretty well. Does the Index have lenses that fog up? Is this a problem that I cannot overcome?

Onward has more "tacticool" PVP but its very punishing. You can be instantly killed from across the map and not even know where the guy was. I only started to have fun in PVP after spending 50+ hours learning most of the common spots on all the maps offline and just pre aiming them when in an actual game.

I am now 3 evenings into development. Today was largely focused on bug fixes, the implementation of the Homing Attack and a re-imagining of how Sonic's lower half will be viewed. Most VR games don't bother giving the player a body at all unless that's part of the point like in VRChat, or Boneworks, but I I felt that seeing your feet in motion was important.

As for the Homing Attack, it is performed by using the "boost" gesture which is moving your arms out behind you. It feels pretty good!

Day 3 of not being able to play my fucking Rift. I have tried every single possible solution and it has either helped not at all, or taken me further from my goal. What happened to it

Final progress for tonight: got all the basic systems working. Instance master can shuffle the tiles instantly, and udon's positional sync keeps everything in sync across clients, no tricky business. After some fighting with MaterialPropertyBlock, all the tiles render in the same drawcall too.

The tiles are very very tiny compared to Nicky's hands, and I don't think I have the wall layout quite the same as Tanki, plus need to add scoreboards and calls and sounds and shit, but it's all within possibility. The prefab shouldn't have any issues being in the scene multiple times either, so could have a full parlor in an instance.

Shuffle technique is really straightforward, so could do a superior murrican texas holdem map as well. Would need some better UI for chip mangement though besides picking them up one at a time.

Yup. I even went out to buy a powered USB hub with the same result. As for the drivers, as far as I can tell everything is up to date. Windows was updated a few days ago, same with Nvidia. The USB driver is up to date as well as far as i can see, but I've seen contradicting things about that. Honestly, every time I try get it running I feel I'm having a dice roll as to what the problem will be. BSOD, undetected USB, undetected DisplayPort, Oculus saying that the hardware is incompatible one moment, then it's fine the next... The tracking issue is the only consistent problem so far. I've submitted a ticket to Oculus and posted on their forums but haven't heard anything back from either just yet.

Been keeping a eye on used Vive prices as I've been trying to get funds together to get one, this is complete system not literally just the headset, and they'd been holding steady at ~£300 - £350 for ages now. Now finally at the cusp of getting enough funds together for that amount, because of this pandemic bullshit they've suddenly shot up in price to £400 and more with regularly having a couple dozen bids on each listing.
For fuck sake, I don't want to wait longer, pay the gouge amount to later find out it drops basically the nanosecond the pandemic bullshit is over as people start selling them en mass when they go back to work and don't have the time anymore, but I don't want wait and find out prices go so off the rails it makes more sense to just hold out for a complete Index or Pimax setup or something, or prices never return to normal because people are retards and don't understand that supply/demand goes both ways, leaving a ton of unsold headsets the owners refuse to drop the price on to something reasonable because of the previous gouge amounts.

Stand out strangely had the best inventory system and mantling/climbing but everything else is among the worst implementations in VR. For others:

Inventory was simply sticking things wherever you want to your body, and if you went over the object limit, it would fall off. It meant you could separate all your equipment exactly how you want without having to rely on the dev to make different options for it all and without problems with grabbing the wrong thing.

With mantling/climing, your hand would stick to the thing you grabbed, then you could move your hand to drag your entire body to go up, over, or hang off it. Works a lot better than jumping or the auto climb in Pavlov.
