I actually have quite a lot of fun actually doing other things. I think that's why I'm not super into the VRclique, I just don't have much to talk about or any of that because I'm too awkward. Well I'm a year later and still no further.
I wanted to change the roles of my vive wands to trackers for full body tracking. But in vrchat only my shoulder moves when I move my feet. First I couldn't change the role from shoulder to feet because they weren't recognized by steam vr even tough they were tracked and I could see them.
But now I have switched to a new PC, used a new steam account, and now I CAN change the role of the tracker to my feet but still only my shoulder moves. I have asked this question before but got no further, I have asked people in vr chat with full body tracking and nothing.

That can happen even under ideal conditions. It's partly VRChat not recalibrating the finger tracking correctly and partly the finger tracking being a little janky.

how big is your room? the base stations should work over 7 meters at least.

index finger tracking isn't great at the best of times, and vrchat's implementation on top of it is even worse somehow. You can kind of reset the finger sensors by drumming your fingers along it, but there's no quick fix. However the finger tracking works in HL:A that's the best it's ever going to be.

That may be why then, will give it a look. Just personal avatars that I don't intend on sharing so I don't care if an update breaks something that requires me to do a little tweak.

Unrelated to that, I find it dumb that they have no problem giving creators 250mb+ in space to store avatars (and worlds), but they allow people to only set 16 avatars as favs from public worlds, which storing those favs can't be anything more than a measly UInt32 each.

It broke pretty much right away on my first Index. I got a replacement one due to broken cable and was much more careful with it and didn't break it off.

So I added dynamic bones to a skirt and tweaked the settings as best I could. The thing is when I move in-game with actual in-game controls the skirt flails around good, but when I actually move myself with FBT (skirt is on the hip) the skirt doesn't really move too much. Not really sure what to do here do I have to make it even more jiggly with the settings? it's already moving a lot when I move with the controller, it just doesn't move as well with hip tracking?
