It's close to the that time of year again. School is in session. Instead of just the typical group photo where everyone goes AHHHH and breaks the game we're gonna try something different. We're gonna have people actually teaching and a school talent show. Now for the teaching it's gonna be more like you present a topic that you like. You could talk about how you like cute and funny things or why people should read the halo novels, starshitizen, any topic you're autistic about is good. It should be around 5 or 10 minutes long but it can be shorter if you'd like. Think of them as shorter versions of the presentations from 2018. As for the talent show it will be in somewhat the same style as last time with people coming up on stage and showing off a talent ie instrument, an avatar you made, dancing, jokes, a skit and things along those lines. There is going to be prizes for the two categories: the best lesson and the best talent. The prizes will be $25 steam gift codes. As for how they will be judged we are still deciding. It may be a raise of hands, how loud people cheer or a rotating panel of judges. There may be other school events going so think of this a part of the school festival. School outfits are preferred but not required for the events. Oh and at the end there will be a group photo. Should be around the 19th of September. No. See here, you misunderstood. You don't pay to just bypass. You pay TO GET SCREENED and then your animation prefab gets a GOOD BOY seal if it's ok and unobtrusive. With the good boy seal you can bypass the restrictions on particles on that specific prefab.

The pool of people willing to pay would be small in the first place, making moderation of just that subsection easier.
People who abuse it can then have their prvilege be revoked or be banned - though a company is rather unwilling to sanction paying customers, unless they realize it's in their own long-term interest.

The actual 'VRCover' is a cloth cover that wraps around your existing foam/facial interface. The pleather and silicone ones are replacement facial interfaces. In my experience with the Vive, I found the pleather replacement very uncomfortable compared to the cloth of the vrcover, but I haven't tried anything on the Index.

Honestly? I think there's 3 viable strategies. I don't like 2 of them though.
1. Do something interesting that competing platforms *can't* do. That was kind of the idea with performances/concerts in Lavender - for people to go "Hey, they've got concerts with a hundred people and all sorts of effects and half the server isn't crashed while the other half gets 12fps!" I honestly don't know what's happened with that.
2. Special interests communities. This is pretty much what NeosVR has. It's *the furry place*, so furrys go there, so there's more people there, so more people go there. You could do a viewing or a tournament or something, start some event, that benefits from the platform, and just wait for it to retain people. Slower, but more stable and a bit more honest.
3. Incentivize influencers. I fucking hate the internet, but this is the way forward for a VRChat competitor from a big publisher. They just throw money at twitch/insta/whatever "influencers", and that gets the platform enough momentum to continue building even after the *sponsorships* have dried up.
