Do I have to do all the same steps in unity, every time I import an updated model? Currently I am generating the rig each time, adding the dynamic bones attributes, adding rotation constraint attributes, and the copying VRC avatar descriptor from my previous version, then dragging and dropping my new Body, Eye.L, Eye.R, and so forth. After a small 6 day break, I have updated my Docking Simulator world. An anon from a few threads ago thought that the translation left/right was inverted? I couldn't respond at the time but if you are still here, did rotating the left joystick left translate the craft left? as far as I can tell how the controls work right now are the way they do in the actual command module/KSP.

If you already have a cloth mesh what we mostly do is use proportional editing via moving single vertices and it automatically smoothly frags adjacent vertices as well.

Depending on the specific situation, you can use shrinkwrap, the various sculpt tools, proportional editing, or any combination of those to get the clothes fitting nicely. That's the easy part...tweaking the weight painting after transferring weights is the annoying bit.

I want to get into VR for AC racing only, but it still seems too expensive. Ideally I'd want an index I guess? Can you make it work with just the headset? It's made by HP, but the software is Microsoft, so you're not entirely wrong. An Odyssey would've been just as bad there though.
Your only current non-Oculus, non-Microsoft options right now are an Index or Pimax unless you want to try and find a used Vive.
Pimax is even more expensive though and probably not great either if you're paranoid about privacy.

whenever I go on vrc people constantly join me over time, if I just go into a public or friends+ world within 2 hours there will be an average of 5 or more people who joined on me

even if I sit in a private world people keep sending me invite requests or join requests periodically every 15 minutes or so

but none of those people feel like friends, they're just there to leech off the attention I give them. they never let me talk about my own hobbies or interests, it's always all about them

I'm surrounded by people but I always feel alone. why is it like this. they all think I'm popular and act like I'm the leader of the group but deep inside I just feel lonely

tried doing an experiment recently and just sitting quietly and listening to others without constantly trying to entertain them or show interest in what they like and they started telling me I'm acting weird and someone even told me to jump off a cliff irl
