Drums are hard because there's no elastic response in VR. The best you can do now are laser harps and theremins and similar. There are a few vrchat worlds for those as demos, as well as pianos and (responseless) drums. Electronauts is a neat soundboard/composition thing; not really a game, nor really an instrument, but vaguely like a DJ simulator/playground.. The Vive's screen is dated and low-resolution compared to the modern offerings, expect some pretty visible screendoor. Any Vive that's lasted this long and wasn't just stowed away in a box somewhere is going to have pretty worn base stations. I can only speak for myself but one of the reasons I give up trying to have discussions here is because it gets drowned out by the things you've listed. You can have multiple successive posts about a VR game only for a dozen garbage schizoposts, vagueposts or VRChat image dumps to suddenly come in one after the other and drive any attention away. Compound this over the course of an entire thread and it feels like sifting through a pile of trash when you just want to catch up on any game related scraps. That's why you need to advertise any events multiple times for at least few days in advance if you want people to notice because who in their right mind does more than skim the thread after they've been away?

I find /v/ a much better place for VR discussion in spite of the anti-VR shitposters and if I was a faggot I would even prefer to use D*scord as my outlet for VR discussion than this place.

The key to acceptance of vg and vrg is that you can't expect instant replies to your legitimate discussion. you just have to treat it like a bunch of threads mixed in together. I often respond to posts that are hours old, and just skip over or hide the shitposting and stuff I don't care about. Second step is to accept that VR is still pretty niche and MoH is sadly shit. I promised to make a review of the GOMRVR Comfort strap form AliExpress

It's good. Pressure is released from my lower forehead and moves it up to my upper forehead, great start.

I've had it for a full day of VR, and the rails are a welcome thing as I can move the headset forward and back without loosening the back plate.

It feels solid, but it still displaces when I try to look down between my legs but that's fine, probably just me.

There is 'some' added weight to the front so it now feels slightly unbalanced?, not that noticeable. I might make a battery cage at the back, ive yet to see how I would go about this with this design, I might need minor padding on the top strap. Adding a counterweight seems like just an added luxury and not crucial for me.

nose flap facial interface is recommended, but the good stuff is sold out, there are alternatives, with those 2 this makes for a good setup.
