How does Oculus store piracy work? I downloaded Robo Recall, tried using Revive but it told me that I needed the Oculus store.
I installed the store (5gb lol), but then it says it doesn't detect the game, as if I had to own it legit. Did I need to put the game in a specific directory or something?

I have zero issues with nausea in VR, it's been a pretty great experience for me since day 1 and the only real thing I needed to do was adjust my IPD properly.
Blade and Sorcery is alright, kind of barebones even with mods and the gameplay isn't as exciting as Sairento. I really hope more VR games take this stylish gameplay approach.

How you would do this is by attaching a HTC tracker to the cat and then having a cat model in game attached to a hip bone or something. hen the cat moves around it'll move the bone with it and the cat model attached to the bone will move around in VR with you.
In VRC this is a fucking pain in the ass but doable. It might be doable to hack it so the cat gets his own account... but you'd need to run VRC twice.

In other social sandbox games this is easier.

Estimated from the Tundra tracker having a flush base.
Since it seems a sensor is mounted normal to the flushed base, FOV would be bigger, but easier to occlude I think.
Using a Tundra as a hip tracker would probably have worse FOV then a Vive Puck as hip tracker no matter FOV due to difference in design.

Payday2 has a custom binding to allow you to even move around using the controllers, but having to use the belt to switch weapons is just cancer, I went into a game and got stuck with only the rocket launcher equipped. Aseto Corsa, controllers dont work in game, might have to find a custom binding or use a gamepad? I wasn't expecting VR to be such a fucking chore, only Alyx and windlands have even worked so far. Theres parts of The Lab where once you enter into a miniature room like the secret shop you have to weirdly press B / Y while not aiming at the ground to rotate instead of pressing left and right on the thumbstick to turn around, like you can in Alyx or the main part of The Lab.

Are vr gun stocks really that much better to use? Anyone have experience with them? Trying to aim with 2 hands in shooters feels kind of janky without that physical connection between controllers and having a stock sounds amazing, but is it worth 200 dollars good? Why all the good 3rd party VR attachments gotta be so expensive?

I know there's cheap and basic 3D printed ones, but I've heard bad things about stocks without something like magnets to easily attach and detach controllers. Using Index ones so can't exactly slide them into a fitting easily without that.

Back in January I decided to commission @No Fox Given and @Zevvy. I could absolutely NOT be happier with the result!

From the very beginning when sending in the application, they were with me every single step of the way to make sure everything went smoothly. It was my first time commissioning, so there was a lot that I hadn't really thought through but there was never a point I was left in the dark wondering if there was an error. I went in with a fairly complex concept and piecemeal references because there wasn't really anything that nailed exactly what I wanted. Despite this, both of them went above and beyond to bring my concept to life even when certain ideas I had didn't quite translate to 3D the way I'd hoped and needed to be changed. This is all on top of giving regular updates to make sure nothing was out of place.

Echoing what others have said, they put so much attention into the finer details. Not only was everything fine tuned according to my feedback, I gave some room for creative freedom and I have no regrets! From the detailed stitching on the corset to the wear and tear on the horseshoes to the surprise trail of acorns on my springjoint, it would be an understatement to say they impressed me with how they expanded upon what I gave them to make something truly unique for me.

When the project was sent to me after the creation and testing process was done (oh, they also brought the avatar into VRChat to show me everything personally before any payments were made), they even stuck around and helped me upload the avatar, particularly when the shader glitched somewhat and didn't apply correctly. And the icing on the cake? They noticed that I didn't have an uploaded picture for it in game, so they made a render for me to use of their own volition!

All this to say I am BEYOND ecstatic to recommend this wonderful duo and touched at all the effort they put in. Thank you so much!

I tried the demo when origin access was on sale. In VR it's incredibly impressive visually, for capturing the feel and what not - but the lack of VR interact-ability (IE everything is still m&k or joystick) is a bit of a damper. So I've been messing around and learning how to do the "infinite walk" by turning my playspace as I move around in a large square in my room so I can keep walking forward in-game forever, of course the problem here is the cable gets tangled as I walk.

I installed Turn Signal hoping it would help remind me to turn the other direction when the cable gets tangled but the problem is when I turn my play space (as I turn in real life) it "resets" the turn signal direction because it things I moved forward (which I did, in-game, but in real life I actually turned to my right) so it doesn't properly show the cable being twisted.

could turn 10 times and it never displays the proper twist because the play space turning with me makes turn signal think I never turned at all. This is VERY bothersome because right now the only thing stopping me from infinite walking is this damn cabling twisting. Is there any way to fix this? or any better software? if I just had a way that shows how many turns I've made I can keep track of it and then turn the opposite way every 8 turns or so so i can keep the cable steady..
