I'm using a rift s, ryzen 2600x, rtx 2060 and 16gb of 3200mhz ram, resource usage is lower than normal during these dips
tried a bunch of shit already (disabling asw, changing SS, priority to high, uninstalling a bunch of shit, disabling all overlays, lowest settings, updating chipset/video drivers, etc) and nothing really made a difference

Really wish more worlds, especially ports, would have moving NPCs more. The worlds are more lonely than Yume Nikki, which also has a scarce NPC now and then. VRchat worlds feel empty too often, especially lame chill out worlds. Is it difficult to put into the game or something?

This is insane. This mod is absolutely necessary for the program to be playable, and they subverted emmVrc so they can try to rip people off for more VRc+ subscriptions. These absolute bastards are so desperate to rip people off for money, that they want to sink the whole damn ship and make off with what they can. They can't even be arsed to make basic improvements. Some people are reporting their favorites already being gone, so look out for that. I won't give them one red cent, I'd sooner just dropped the program all together.

VRChat have proven themselves, unwilling, unwanting, uncompromising, and unavailable to anything supporting the development of, within or for vrchat. They are not mod friendly, they are not your friends. They do not care about you. They will kill your product even further requesting that you remove dynamic bones when they make that a paid only feature too.

A month ago somebody was asking about how to properly route musical instruments into vrchat microphone input. I took another crack at it today and have what I think is a reasonably explainable setup for voicemeeter potato (which is essentially voicemeeter banana with more inputs). The main annoying thing is that voicemeeter has a very unintuitive signal flow. Once you get that A1 = hardware out, B1 = "VoiceMeeter Output" in windows input devices, and "VoiceMeeter Input" in windows output devices = "Voicemeeter VAIO" in voicemeeter's UI, it makes sense.

Note that this doesn't have a DAW involved, just windows and voicemeeter and a hardware analog input for the piano. If you want other plugins, soft synths, or sidechannel stuff, I think you need a more complicated thing with the "master section" part of the UI so you can route voicemeeter's input channels to ASIO input channels, and ASIO output channels back out to the right places. I'll try to recreate that setup tomorrow sometime and post a screenshot.

FWIW playing instruments with vrchat voice input is not ideal, as you're subject to its voice-specific gating and compression. Notably, sustained soft notes will get gated. However, there is another way to get high quality and reasonably low latency (1 second or so) audio into vrchat through RTSP streaming, which I'll also post about once I figure that out.
