Also, worth a mention that lighthouse playspace was barely moving at all between system resets, think 1-2cm offsets at worst. Anyone do VR with a stationary bike or bike trainer? I remember running across https://www.blync.bike when it was a kikestarter, and now it's actually shipping. Looks tempting, but also has that "it's a rotary encoder attached to a bluetooth radio that I could totally make myself" feeling. Is there any way or mod or something that allows me to alter the location of my avatar's view ball position thing without fucking with the actual FBT armature? right now I have an avatar that if I set the view ball to 0(on the Z axis) the FBT tracking works fine, however my view point is too far back into the avatar's head and my face clips into people like fucking crazy because when I move close to someone my actual view is too far back (where my real eyes are located) but my avatar's nose is farther forward.

The solution (sort of) that I did was to move the ball forward so the view point is on top of the nose itself, now I see perfectly and do not clip into anyone when i'm close...but because the view position is set so forward it fucks with my armature badly, like my spine/chest tilts forward when I move my arms because the view point is too far forward. When I have the view set to 0 it doesn't have these problems.

Really want to fix this, if there's a way to set my view position to 0 yet be able to move my actual eye's view location forward without affecting the actual FBT that'd be solid. pls help

Viewpoint Tweaker should do what you want. Also IKTweaks is far better at keeping your viewbal in your head than default vrchat, at the expense of a weirder looking neck. There are a bunch of settings to tweak it though.

People tend to overdo power supplies, quality 500w psu would actually carry this setup without trouble. 3070 draws 200w of power in benchmarks, 3600 eats no more than 150w in worst stress tests, so you got 150w left for rest fo computer and that's not bad at all. Still, i guess it's a good practice to have more in such a crucial component, and i imagine 700w psu running at 60% load will live longer than 500w psu running at 95% every time you start the game.

Spagonia - lovely little world but the movement system is fun! It has double jump, wall jumping and grinding on railings. I managed to jump my way to the (almost) top of the tower

The drawing system isn't really remarkable, it has basic brushes and a colour palette but it doesnt have 2 layers you can make use of and the best feature is the syncing of the drawings for late joiners, not something you usually see.

If you're using it via Oculus/Air Link or Virtual Desktop for PC VR it's alright. Better tracking than WMR and better visuals than Rift S. If you're using it standalone it's kinda meh. Only a few decent games and stuff like VRChat is abysmal outside of PC.

Other than that the Quest 2 is pretty solid headset. Wireless makes things much more immersive and the latency from wireless is bearable. It's definitely a good introductionary headset and if you find out you need something else you didn't take a massive financial hit after you flip it.

I wouldn't recommend anything else than Index or Quest 2 as a starter headset as everything else is either shit, end of life, obsolete or has only niche advantages.

It depends. I've made a few nip friends on VRChat and even hung out/did shit with them as well.
That said Gaijin Complex is a thing and it's more or less an inferiority complex some nips have against foreigners. Lot of it has to do with race and culture, as nips don't like uncertainty or being direct while most foreign cultures relish in chaos and are generally very direct.
