I have a theory that it gets worse just for the simple fact that tastes are different.
It first starts with a bunch of enthusiasts who do not know what they like or do not like yet exactly.
You have different groups that arises naturally as the niches are filled and the technology/group matures.
By this point it should still be alright.
But by the end, without proper cohesion, each sub-group will start to think the bigger "other" are shit and the ones making the place bad.
This is something that needs to be counteracted.

Inter-group communication needs to somehow be maintained. The events sort of do it in a way. But I think we should also find a way to make wanting intermixing with other groups for discussion and games to be more organically promoted.

Something to act as a common value amongst the naturally forming sub-groups as our minds and tastes differ and our time becomes limited enough that we cannot logically have enough time for each and every person to build meaningful connection with.

This is I think the strength of the anonymous imageboard as we can have a common team and treat each other as friends whiteout overloading our monkeysphere brain.
I always imagine I am talking with a friend when posting in the thread.

First off, VRChat and similar things are not the first. Second, you haven't shown that there's any widespread issues with isometric and moving platform VR (looking at you Oculus rift). Third, "official" support of a platform isn't important (looking at you the lack of DED support). Fourth, the problem is "complaints about something happening" isn't really an issue. If you have something concrete, there's a good chance that this thread or other places on these forums could address it. And yet, you keep doing it.

The lack of information is exactly why we don't believe you. If you have an issue, support it and show us. You aren't doing that and that's what's making you look like an asshole. If someone says "chips will catch on fire", what are you going to say? "Not really, it's a problem that doesn't occur". Now that'd be a post worth discussing and supporting.
