So bring every you need to make it like electric kettle, ramen, bowl, water, ect and login into vrc and join the link. we'll wait for everyone hopefully get going within 10 minutes after 7pm est. We'll all start boiling water at the same time, when your water is ready pour it in to the ramen ofc. Be careful if you pour the boiling water with a pass through on. You might want to take off the headset for a min to pour. Finally we'll all wait for our ramen to cool off a bit before digging in.

All it essentially means is you are assigning parts of your model to be controlled by certain bones. Weight painting your hair to your chest in the way I'm implying means it will only move with your chest bone like it was glued there. It's very optimised compared to the alternatives and can look quite good if you've got hair that naturally drapes over your shoulders and runs down your back.

I've started to run into an issue when closing SteamVR it will lock up my entire computer, completely frozen, only option is to hold the power to force reboot. As far as I can tell nothing major has changed on my PC, no new drivers or anything. I'm using the Quest 2 with Link but nothing major seems to happen on the headset side.

Indirect contribution was used to modify the contribution it gave to the direct light color but that's not how lighting works at all anymore. The lighting was made significantly more consistent and good between worlds now with the new method of calculation. If you want to change how real time lighting in form of point lights and such affect your shadows you can use the Additive Lighting settings, specifically Point Light Passthrough and Limit Intensity. Clicking on the "Tutorial" Buttons opens videos in which poivom explains each section again as well, might be worth checking out.

Yes.
2 parameters, one for the toggle in your menu and one for the randomiser.
Make an empty state as the default state which will have nothing on it and a second empty state which will have the parameter driver on it which is what your toggle will be for in the menu. Make sure it's set as "local only" so that it syncs the same value with everyone. I know it doesn't sound like it will by that naming they use there but it does believe me.
You'll then transition from the second empty state to the 2 animations that you want to randomise between by using the second parameter that's being driven by the second empty state.
This probably doesn't make sense because I'm bad at explaining things and sleep deprived. I'm going to bed now so I won't answer any questions until the morn, good night~

Generally people in /vrg/ won't use it since the lobbies are safe, or you'll likely be adding everyone as a friend anyways so the lobbies are more accessible and shaders aren't blocked for friends in almost all cases. In any case you should be using a shader which has fallback support for when shaders are blocked like ACLS, Silent's, Xiexe's so your avatar will still look ok regardless

tanks is fun when you have a full crew, but it's pretty difficult to juggle commander/gunner. Steel Heroes (the other dead tank game) also gave the commander another machine gun with tracers which was nice for call outs to the gunner/driver, would be nice to have.

Hopefully by next play test they have native voice chat too, otherwise I'll have to to actually figure out mumble acls.
