Come one come all. Calling on all /vrg/ who would want to go around trick or treating this fine holiday seaosn of spooctacular proportions.

We'll be making a special map which would allow everyone to dole out 6 types of candies to any and all people in the map.

You can give out as many candies as you want but only one type of each candy to each person. THEY NEVER STACK!

The 6 candy types are:
STANDARD
1) Best looking Optimized Spooky Avatar
2) Technically Impressive Spooky Avatar
3) Scariest Spooky Avatar
(SECRET categories to be revealed on the day)
4) ???
5) ???
6) ???

Everyone will be on the board and will have the amount of their candies tracked!
Everyone can give candies too!
So give a knock to everyone on the map to give you one or two of those delicious candies!

We'll have an announcer and camera man roaming the map to showcase avatars too so say hi to them if you want to showcase your avatar broadcasted to all the screens of the map! Hang out and chill out and TRICK OR TREAT your heart out!

If you have the most candies in each categories we'll be sure to make everyone know by the end of the day!

Extra Note: Might want to shard it into two instances for NA this year and see if it's much better for frames too.
Last year approx 40 costume participants were there and only 80max can be in the map and was very laggy.

So this year we'll try 20 costume participants in a map and max of 60 in a map. But there will be TWO(2) instances.

So I have a neko girl that has a long cat tail, it has shapekeys for tail up, tail left, tail right, etc.

I wanted to go into blender and move the actual position of the tail on the model because it looks a bit off...how exactly can I do this without completely fucking up all the shape keys and still having them work correctly? Simply moving the tail in edit mode produced really weird results (the shapekeys basically "reset" the tail to it's original position when I hit the emote in-game so it flies off to it's old position, looks really bad)

Yes, but not together with the mesh when it's separated like that? the only way that I know of to move bones alongside a mesh at the same time is in pose mode, but that won't work here for reasons stated above. if I go into edit mode on the armature it moves only the bones, if I do the same to the mesh it moves only the mesh, not the bones.

So are you saying to do each individually? separate the mesh, move the mesh to the right spot, then move the tail bones over to match the new spot? then rejoin the tail mesh to the main body mesh?

Hey /vrg/ I decided to get back into vrchat recently and there was this guy I was being friends with who I even made a few custom avatars for because I knew it was just a couple of minutes in photoshop. We never talked enough for me to consider us proper friends or close, so when I feel slided I was pretty quick to remove them. Most people who use SteamVR, which I'd consider to be a reasonable metric for having more than a casual interest in VR games, don't have access to the VR port of RE4 because it's locked to a single headset. That includes all of the other Oculus users who got shafted because it's not available for their headset either.

6G is the best VRchat map I've played, granted I'm partial to well constructed schizo maps ala ActionHalf-Life Hondo maps, but damn sure worth playing through, really fun. If you end up having to respawn, just know you don't have to backtrack all the way to where you were, if you explore around the side of the motels you spawn in initially.

The underground stuff is cool too, but Muzz is arguably bigger than almost everyone who's played in VRChat with the exception of PKCZ and Miyavi, and to a lesser extent Toriena, Slushii, Tatsh, and YFUBaby at VKet's stuff. That's unique though, they have major industry connections.
Since playing at VKet and Slyfest though, Toriena and Muzz have both started playing their own events and various gigs, and PKCZ have been back three times.
Some of the Japanese events are absolutely huge but fly under the radar in vrg.
