with Virtual Desktop you can play all steam games if you have a PC.

I recommend looking into 'glasses spacer' for Quest 2 or prescription lenses for the quest 2 so you wouldn't need to wear your glasses while using it

I've been wearing contacts to play, and just ordered a set of prescription lenses from the vroptician place (made and ships from Germany apparently).
I haven't got them yet, so I don't know how good they are, or if they even work.

I've never played without the prescription lenses from VROptician, so I dunno what to compare it to, but I have a set of lenses for 2 headsets and they both allow me to play without glasses. I actually enjoy putting the headset on because there I don't have to wear glasses, as opposed to when looking at the flat normal screen. It's comfy.

What game just has good, challenging shooting with pistol or one handed guns. Personally I hate the wonkyness of using two handed guns in VR.

ok so update on Iron Rebellion after playing it for about an hour:

It's basically a tech demo right now and definitely not worth the $15 price. All you can do is 1v1 matches and a single social lobby for practice, there is no tutorial, and only a single mech and weapon. Devs say that 4v4 is their first priority now after launch and it should be coming "soon."

That being said the FEEL of the game is incredible, really good aesthetic and art direction, good sound design too, and the feeling of pressing all the buttons in the mech is very very satisfying, even if they dont do anything right now.

All in all a solid base but that is literally all it is, a base. I say wait until they add 4v4 and private matches and then it will be worth it, I'll keep you guys updated because I hate vox and want this game to replace it.

Pro2 is LCD (vs Pro1 - oled), his higher horizontal FoV, a bit smaller/the same vertical FoV, and a lot higher resolution. Colors, brightness and black levels are still way better than other LCD based screens, very similar to OG Vive (I have both OG Vive and Pro2).

Headphones are of nice quality, headstrap is pretty good, microphone is kinda shit.

I would recomend Pro 2 with index controllers, but if you don't care about high resolution too much, then Valve Index.

Index is the gold standard. It's the best all rounder - the screen is a couple years old now so there's better screens on the market for pixel density (the HP G2 is the better one) but for the entire package it's the best.

DON'T BUY PRO2 FULL KIT

Best visual quality and tracking right now is Vive Pro 2, any pair of lighthouses (original square ones, or new 2.0 ones, from Valve or HTC) and Index Controllers. Pro2 full kit goes with vive wands which are extremely outdated by now, superseded by Index Controllers, which are compatible with Vive. If you buy Pro 2 from HTC and Lighthouse/Controllers from Valve it will be cheaper and better than Pro 2 full kit.

If you want super high quality audio and god level microphones, at a cost of slightly lower (albeit still good) resolution and FoV - just grab the Index full kit.

If you are super cheap, want worse audio, strap, even lower FoV, facebook nose, and inferior tracking with no easy way to upgrade to full body tracking then you can get Oculus Quest 2, which is an excellent device for its price, but be carefull if your IPD is outside of the 3 set positions you get on Quest the vision will be blurry..
