It's extremely unlikely that you'd get a Quest 2 that was somehow bricked; the biggest thing to worry about would probably be scratched up lenses from a previous user.

A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE OCCURED once again for this jolly season.
Everyone has managed to submit all the gifts and cards and such.
Gifts has been mostly packed in-game and was tested to be GPU instanced safe and effective.
Maps have been placed with working colliders

Due to the feature creep of recent events and people voicing their concerns on it we've decided to reduce the scope and complexity of this event compared to the previous year.

Itinerary for the event proper is as follows:
1) Map instance creation
(if overflow is needed, host gets a sub-host for a secondary map)
2) Coin gathering
3) Host micro speech (30 seconds)
4) Special video by /vrg/ productions
4) Gift opening ( w/ special music by meatman)
5) Chill time
Note: Main gift instance is streamed/recorded for posterity specially the gift opening sequence.

Mesh baking optimization = Dec 14-15
[Finalization of gifts and double checking if everyone is accounted for by GUNO here]
Final Dry run test = Dec 16

okay since you retards can't seem to be able to read let me give you a quick rundown on the pros and cons of the tundras by somebody who actually owns them

lighter, ESPECIALLY with the given straps, it is very easy to notice the difference from my 3.0s and their strapsp
longer battery, this one doesn't matter too much since the 3.0s mostly match the index controllers unless you have them hooked up to a battery bank, but it is nice to have since that means they'll degrade a lot less and if you decide to make battery bank straps for your index controller's you'll feel less compelled to do the same with your tundras
multiple strap/base options, they come with regular threaded bases like the 2.0s/3.0s and strap base and they'll be coming out with a base that allows you to program them to be like controllers, pretty interesting stuff
comes with very nice, very lightweight straps so you won't have to spend more $$$ for them
the all in one dongle is fantastic, basically gets rid of the issue of having more wires and shit all over your PC

smaller, which is very nice for your feet, knees, and elbows, but isn't all that great for your hip since it'll have more trouble tracking if your base station placement isn't that great

Match the time you downloaded someones avatar files with folder creation dates. Look for _data files in sub folders, those are avatars and maps.
Find some Unity ripper program like uTinyRipper or AssetRipper (google for their githubs)
open the _data files in ripper and extract everything, then import what you extracted into unity (usually named Assets folder)
You should have everything from animations, controllers, materials, textures etc. including the prefab for avatar. Sometimes things are broken on prefab which I don't know how to get around but no one else is responding. I think I heard using newer unity versions first and importing back into vrchat supported unity works(?) but never tried myself.

I finally beat Outer Wilds. Fantastic VR game, easily up there with Alyx as far as actual storyline attached to actual gameplay. Took me a leisurely 19 hours.

Only complaint was that there's some odd bug in the VR mod that prevents you from using the translator, which killed a few loops for me. I think it's triggered by picking up or dropping scrolls/tablets simultaneously, so I guess be careful with that. Otherwise the VR mod works great, feels as good as any native VR game.
