First for cuddling.

Anyone dealt with the message "VRChat experienced an internal error" before? It appears at completely random game times (from 1 minute to every 20 minutes) and kicks me from the world and I need to go back to the hub before reconnecting. Tried reinstalling VRChat and clearing cache, updating GPU drivers. I tried looking online but it doesn't appear to be common, and the only solution posted online is to reformat the PC with a fresh OS (I'm still on Win10). Any advice?

Fix Model should only be used for stuff like MMD's, that's what it is made for. It takes a variety of input models such as MMD or XPS, and automatically applies a process to the armature that renames, reparents, moves or deletes a bunch of bones. This is so that a non-Unity compatible model basically becomes Unity-compatible almost immediately.
The catch here is that the models must be in a predictable predefined format (like MMD).
Booth models are ALREADY Unity-compatible, they don't have to be "fixed". They also aren't in a common format. If anything, doing "Fix Model" on booths will just have a chance of messing stuff up.
The nebbia model for instance will move around a whole bunch of spine bones in weird ways when you hit "fix model".

This is basically impossible or not worthwhile, UNLESS the bone transform gameobjects aren't actually "moved" and the mesh is only moved visually.
But on top of that, you can have 10 dynamic bones right now and still be Good ranked. no one really cares about the ranks though, if someone is bothered by dynamic bone they can just limit it locally.
you should only concern yourself with being poor/very poor in terms of polys/materials/meshes, because that's the only way you can actually get your avatar auto-fallbacked.

Either move your base station so it's directly opposite your other one, or always face in the direction of the arrow. Reflective surfaces and bright/direct sunlight can mess up your tracking. Headset overheating also does it. Base stations should also be able to see each other so make sure they're above you angled down.

Can I get some tips or advice on how to properly weight paint the three bones for individual fingers? meaning the base, middle, and tip bones? it is such a hassle trying to get the weight paint to just be on the one finger without spilling over to the adjacent finger since they are so close to each other. it's pretty fun and they got a a lot of mechanics
summoning sword/guns on the fly using mana
telekinetic shit to throw stuff around, bring it to your hand, or make it float in front of you and kill from a small distance, their movement system is pretty cool too, dodging mid-air, double jumping, bullet time slow-motion shit
currently you can only do small rogue like runs, but I will definitely play more of this
what I dislike is that sometimes I'm stuck in loading screens where they tell me to press my trigger button, but most of the time the button press doesn't register, they have an extensive tutorial section which teaches you everything you can do in this game

It's still under development, but VRCMG is helping me along since it needs to do shit like hook native code and they have abysmal documentation.

What it does is block blacklisted avatar bundles from even being downloaded, as even trying to load them causes Unity to throw a debug assertion, triggering a CTD from native code. Unity, of course, denies any of this being a problem and tells me it can be caught with a try/catch. It can't.

I'm also working on making it possible to blacklist assetbundles by hash, but it's taking a while to track down which loading method VRC uses. I eliminated AssetBundle.LoadFromFile(Async) yesterday.

Please vrc team do not unplug the support of avatars 2.0, the sdk is not available anymore on the website but there's still tons of avatars/worlds out there that still uses it.

I started playing in 2017 and most aspects of this game have been drastically improved with time, the overall optimization, the worlds content and quality, the safety options and even the avatars themselves are more and more impressive with each year, but sdk 3.0 was something a pet peeve of mine and here's why: It looks like it was made just thinking about full body tracking, there are a few implementations that are cool like the inventory toggle so you can even have different outfits on a single avatar, but the legs always look awful if you are not using full body, whenever you crouch or just play in sitting mode, your avatar looks like is crawling with the legs behind, instead of the usual squat. The legs always stay super closed to each other even while standing and sometimes just crosses each other clipping one another. Even the option to untoggle expressions look like something made just for the Index because toggle animations happen wildly with that headset.

Before someone points out "you just don't know how to work with avatars" I do agree that I'm nowhere near a pro creator, maybe not even a mid tier at best, but I have been working with avatar creating in both unity and blender for a while and that issue with the legs is something that has eluded me and my waaay more talented friends I have since its implementation. That's why I just sticked with 2.0 until now... Maybe there is something that can be done in either blender or unity but so far it looks like the issue is with the rigging inplemented in the sdk 3.0

The VTOL mission editor isn't out yet, but I'm preparing one before it releases that I hope will help people practice SEAD and evading radar sites, since there won't be any enemy aircraft.

You can go through the valleys to hide from the SAMs, but it'll expose you to IR launchers which are easy to evade with flares. Once you clear it out there's a nice payoff of a fuckoff big base to bomb.

there's a mix of the generic kill and gather quests, with ones that require climbing and gliding to access switches and buttons. gear progression is equip good stuff and turn bad stuff into dust to enchant, haven't touched the caster class. you can only duel wield swords atm but you do parry attacks or just dodge them

Like how will they handle the several options you get when you get near a person? There's Subdue, Snap Neck, Knock Out and all that stuff - we don't have enough keybinds for it in VR and I somehow doubt they'll be able to mark hotzones on their body where you use a button or punch them physically

no shields atm, there is a tank role. i've only started with dps then switched to support for suitability. you can pick two to three (i think 3 each is the goal) skills to bind to each type. there's vertical and horizontal cadence, vertical and horizontal power, double power, dash, ult, and a few passive slots i think

It's the best value headset on the market hands down. It's good enough not even to be called 'budget VR'. You can use it with PCVR too, but GPUs, CPUs, etc make it considerably less budget.
