With the way the work is settling for this month it is focusing on Valentines/Coom and Kon edits, that second part of the first part is regular par for the course around here. Editing a dress outfit onto any kind of model or a tux or formal outfit requires a certain level of fitting, if you need help, spam your request in the thread or ask in shop.

Zenith requires work to organize, much like the days of Pavlov and other fun games that require gatherings of people, fighting the VRC pull of the night is extraneous. We did pull it off last week right after shop, and it will be played tonight if enough players are gathered.

Dm the shop man if you can see the way forward, know the path is wrought with many problems, but strive to walk it.

Come join in on a casual low-effort, low-poly Kon event! It'll be fun to make lil' Kon versions of yourself with fellow anons. If you aren't able to make one yourself, there are plenty of avatar worlds with Kons you can use. Texture edits are always a fun entry point into model making/kitbashing. For anons who already made a Kon last year... it's been a year! I'm sure either your main avatar has changed or maybe you've grown your skills? Now is a great time to show off what you've learned through out the year!

There was a pretty big turn out last year with pretty good frames because Kons are pretty optimized as is. I'd love to see as many people there as possible! Maybe even more than last time. Throwing the model into blender, downloading the cats plugin, and hitting the cats fix button is pretty much all you need to do to get an mmd model ready for vrchat. Yeah so I have my quest 2 plugged in to my pc, and I launch steam through connected pc / airplay (which makes the wire sort of redundant but whatever), this takes me to the menu where it's all white with a black grid and I can access my computer, I can bring up my monitors, go through files etc, if I wanted to play the steam version of pavlov this is where I launch it through steam, steam even gives me a oculus compatibility launcher option. There's a few games I launch by doing this. Sadly Sadly I try to launch vrchat, instead of bringing me into a 3d version of chat it opens a window , like I was playing the non-vr version

Depends. It's better to keep at least the face(usually named body) separate since it'll have a lot of blendshapes, but if you're going for an excellent rating, everything needs to be one mesh.
Check the rating system so you can build to target while keeping in mind "excellent" doesn't always mean optimized.

I meant more as in, what's your end goal for getting it into all one mesh? For example, unless you're under 32k tris, VRC will rate a single mesh avatar only as good as one with 70k tris and two skinned meshes. So there's no point in combining everything into a single mesh unless you have less than 32k tris on the avatar so you can shoot for the excellent rating.
And in my experience, going for the excellent rating is a waste of time, since you're losing a lot of detail without gaining anything.
Only reason to optimize that much would be to use it as a fallback, and fallbacks require you to be good/excellent for Quest which means 10k tris, at which point you'll look absolute dogshit.

It really just depends on how old the model is. Booth gets the reputation of having higher quality models just because it's new and MMDs have this glut of legacy stuff from 2013-2016. On a serious note, making models from scratch is a decent amount of work and side characters from seasonal anime often don't have ones already made. A cursory search on 3d.nicovideo.jp doesn't turn up much for TPN. You might be able to find something deeper in the Japanese internet but I'm afraid that's beyond my ability to help you with.
