2018 was definitely a magical experience.

made an autism toy for my new avatar. unity animations are kinda jank but it mostly works out. Still need to make a better way to holster/un-holster things. I tried to use some aim constraints with weight bound to distance in order to make it easier to slide in/out of the holster properly, but the effect is only mediocre since I didn't want to have the revolver rotating automatically without my hand. Next project will probably involve trying to learn how to make custom IKs so I can make my hands go where I want them when I want them.

/vrg/ the thread was only "good" for a very short period of time, before the schizo tier shitposting made it go to shit. In-game though it was better. The best thing in those times wasn't actually the people or the game. It was the attitude people had going in that made them interact with each other in the way they did. Because back then everyone was new. VR was new. There wasn't something that already existed and was established for a terribly long time. You were the pioneer. And you were discovering it with others from the same place that you always knew but never personally. I'm sure many of the newfags here, if they had played then, would have been just as cool people that we'd be nostalgiafagging over now.

However I think the threads have vastly improved since going to shit back then, and now it's pretty decent, though lacking the sense of discovery of the novel and the unity in that kind of atmosphere.

What would cause my model to have a fucking neckseem?
I've been turning in circle for like 2 days now trying to fix it and I feel like it's something super simple that I missed.
The exact same material is put on both my head and body yet they don't light up in the same way at all under different lights, I even tried with the model straight from booth to make sure it wasn't any of my amateur work that fucked anything up and surprise, I have the same problem.
Anything I can do except Atlasing? I've been trying for a while and I don't think I'm there yet, I need a quick fix for now.

That's the problem, If you have multiple meshes on an avatar, they sample light from their individual origins (anchors) unless you override them to all sample from the same place. Hips or head or whatever are good targets for that.

ParaPara is a type of dance usually associated to eurobeat songs, mostly focusing on arm movements (and cool poses). The main goal is to actively learn ParaPara choreography and eventually make content out of it (videos, events, performances), but anyone is free to join no matter if they want to take it seriously or just as a fun thing.
