I have never met anyone that was particularly fond of CVR, except one guy. He was a homosexual man and head moderator of a discord server I was in. He made no secret of his same-sex desires for chatters. When he identified a male poster he liked, he would ask them if they ever played CVR. This was a bait, kind of like in prison. If you said you liked VR games in any way, he would feign interest and eventually pressure you into playing CVR.
Eventually he'd have you DMing him screenshots as you stand around your first empty instance. Then he'd arrange a meetup to 'chimp out' in CVR and it would end with him forcing you to bottom for him. I don't know how he managed to do it repeatedly so many times, he just did. We were a fag hating, anti-tranny type discord and he managed to top several strong young men somehow. He used his oldfag position over desperate newfags, and he really loved CVR. On that server, there is an inside joke among the guys about who was "chimped" and who wasn't.

You get paired up with a random person in the instance in a room for 5 minutes, with the intention being to talk and make a new friend, or just talk to people you normally don't say much to. After 5 minutes it then reshuffles you to match with a different person. There's also stuff like cards in the room that have questions on them to help break the ice.

1) Checkmark the furry's name beforehand in your menu (summon by using both controller triggers simultaneously)

It's true that there are cliques, but there's plenty of people here who'd go out of their way to make others feel welcome. I would recommend going to one of the smaller events during the week first, since during the weekend most people are drunk out of their minds and gathered in a large instance where it might be a bit intimidating.

If it's latter, maybe you should start with putting some small stool in the corner of the room and using it whenever you feel like having a seat. for the longest time i had this idea of trying to suspend myself with some harness around hip and chest, putting FBT on, and then i'd slap physics on bones on armature in game and try to walk in game. would probably feel like FBT equivalent of toribash, but i really really want to try it one day

use the harness to trick the game into thinking you are taller then you really are. Easy manlet fix.
