best bet is to try and follow instructions to enable resizeable bar on your motherboard and then see if you need to convert after trying

1. Is expensive
2. Is limited by the CPU and that entire platform. GPUs run differently so can make use of faster memory, while CPUs don't really benefit from 9000MHz RAM so much because the CPU isn't powerful enough to do so.

Ever since that weird old guy came around I've had a strange feeling in the back of my brain and a desire to make my character more colourful, what did he do to me? Should I dye my hair?

So one of my vive trackers seems to be dying. It will randomly just not connect and takes ages to re-pair, sometimes not doing so at all. The others work fine. I'm going to just buy a 3.0 tracker now in preparation for it's inevitable death, however I got to thinking, since I'm going to have the extra tracker laying around as a backup I may as well just use it now because why the fuck not?

I already have the generic 6 point tracking setup (see pic) with 2 controllers, a hip tracker, two leg trackers, and the headset. Where could I use the extra tracker for added benefit? Only place I can think of I guess is the chest? but will this even do jack shit for improved tracking? As far as improvements, chest is okay. elbows dont seem to do much for me as the fov of the headset makes it so i dont see my elbows anyways. knee tracking is pretty good without trackers. but since you only have the one chest is the only option. the quality of IK also depends on the bone of the avatar. if its not setup right the chest tracker can make the IK do funky things.

If I can post a bit of rant, especially since I don't have anywhere else to post this. For starters, I don't play video games anymore. The last game I played was the Witcher 3 on my phenom II 955/Radeon 6870 PC. I don't get on the internet much. This VR shit is amazing, like genuinely incredible, and nobody is talking about it. Every night after the kids go to bed I play until the battery dies, then plug it in while I do evening chores, then play it until the battery dies again. I've only played beat saber and vrchat, but I picked up Zenith (I played a lot of WoW tbc in college) and can't wait. Every time I put this thing on I'm awestruck with it. I'm having more fun than I've had in years. I don't understand why this isn't mainstream, or why nobody has talked to me about it. VR is very obviously the future.

That's why i'm working on Chorketowne instead of hanging in the thanksgiving meet right now.

I'm setting up Audiolink for my world, and I got it all set up, but the issue is that the audiolinkinput component of it is 2d and that means there is always a very quiet audio in the background from it.

Is there a way to fix this without setting it to only react to a single audio source?

It's kinda expensive and the setup was a pain, although the Quest helps with both of those. It also can seem really gimmicky until you actually try it. There aren't a lot of big exclusives to draw people in either.
It's also not really something you can easily share with people in the same place since it kinda isolates you.

I love it, but I'm not sure it is. I think it'll get bigger than it is now, but I think it'll always be relatively niche. I can't see people wanting to play everything like this, even if I think it's a better experience most of the time.
