If image in the headset looks blurry but fine on the monitor, increase your rendering resolution!
If you start to feel sick when playing, stop and have a rest. You'll get your VR legs eventually, just don't push it.

Has anyone figured out a way to move the vest in Contractors VR closer to you? Everytime I go to two hand my pistol it ends up grabbing my primary weapon or grenade.
Is it worth opting into the beta branch of Pavlov?
Share your most underrated VR game/experience thats almost never mentioned anywhere.
For me, its VR skiing. Ive played a basic mod demo as well as Powder VR, which is probably the most comprehensive option for it.
The feeling of presence is unbelievable, especially the first time you try it. Legit gives off some kind of vertigo, but in a way that works since you're supposed to be going down a hill. Also just fun in general once you get your legs under you and the controls translate very well in vr, even with just a headset and controllers.

I'm skeptical about VR games designed around activities relying on the lower body, but the thrill is likely still there
https://store.steampowered.com/app/680400/Light_Tracer_VR__NONVR/
I'm the only person who has shilled and posted about this game for several years. Compared to other games in this first-person/third-person hybrid genre, it's the most challenging and also the most varied. I'm disappointed that the sequel they made is flat screen only
>>413666374
electronauts is neat. if anyone wants to try out the 2 player mode sometime, I still have yet to do it.
>>413676610
Looks interesting, shame it isnt more flexible to allow the importation or creation of your own tracks.
Having said that, i did a search and apparently someone already has a project with full dj equipment simulation.
Makes me realise how much VR content I miss out simply because google searching the best VR games just gives you the same repeated recommendations over and over again.
>>413683885
yeah, there's a lot of weird niche VR music stuff. I actually like the limitations of electronauts; it's somewhere between DJing and an (unscored) rhythm game. fun to play around in their premade tracks. if you do want more flexibility, I have tried/know about:
exa infinite instrument: nice build-your-own midi instrument with basic loop support. sadly dead development though.
synthspace: webm related, modular synthesizer. looked really nice but dead again.
synthVR: the other modular synth. less dead than synthspace and slightly more features , but still dead.
virtuoso vr: not dead (yet). haven't actually tried this one but it's basically exa but updated.
vinyl reality: olde school DJ simulator. played the demo, kind of neat, but I'm not that into DJing.
tribexr: new school DJ simulator. haven't actually tried it, mitebcool.
paradiddle vr: drum simulator. I haven't tried it, but I have played ragnarock the rhythm game and I've decided just don't like virtual drums that much. no elastic response makes it hard to do actual drumming.
>>413685585
oh neat, streamable hasn't deleted my exa video yet:
https://streamable.com/qr4ovm
I like the beat saber-like hit detection on the bars, and being able to play on both down and up strokes. it's something you can't do with physical instruments, and it works better than having to fake the elastic response of a real bar/drum.
also here's what electronauts is like https://streamable.com/iikk0h
>>413666374
Resize me. Currently still in development but it's free on Patreon and it has an incredible amount of content of 4-5 hours. It's giantess focused content but the experiences are really amazing even if you don't have a fetish for it. There's a lot of variety, the story is interesting, the character is waifu material and there's a lot of great attention to detail. It's far better than games like Vr kanojo which costs a lot of money and yet the experience is only 15 minutes.
>>413685585
I see a few of those have positive reviews with well over double digit playtime, thats always a good sign for VR. Yet again the price is an annoyance, ultimately it limits me to 2-3 of the apps cause i dont wanna spend over $100 on a niche.

vr games are my favorite vr games
>want to play vr game
>need to go back forth taking my headset off for 5 minutes before everything works
This is why I always end up shelving the thing for a few months. I guess it's not as bad for standalone niggers, but then the quality isnt as good.

>>413657030
I think turning off full body IK can help because I feel like most of the time that happens, it's because the virtual body is in the wrong orientation.
>>413735545
There is an infuriating SteamVR bug for Index at least where your headset just doesn't track until you restart it.
>>413735148
This is why am internal processing unit giving every headset at least basic standalone capability would be a huge improvement.

How do you change classes in Contractors TF2?
Oh good /vrgg/ is back. As dead as it gets here I like having two threads with one safeguarded from melties and schizo hours.
>>413659206
Not yet. There's no modkit so no custom maps. Once that happens the beta branch will start to get some servers populated during peak EU and NA time.
>>413737686
On the loadout page click the character portrait on the left, you can scroll the selection box to see the other classes.
>>413735545
It's Murphy's law for vr as far as I'm concerned. Something always needs an adjustment, a lens fogs up, something encounters a desktop popup, something doesn't work and needs restarting..etc
Like today it was, a foggy lens followed by my steering wheel somehow disabling headset audio because I plugged it in at the wrong time.
Or the other day it was pistol whip just not starting because some random update requires tinkering with vr dev settings to launch.
I mean it's gotten much better since the days of the og Vive, but there's always new bullshit to deal with.
>>413738071
I'm not sure it's not as bad for standalone because if you'll recall Carmack basically quit over this, he was super frustrated by the friction caused by software issues like the lack of offline updates.
>>413738071
Seems like skill issue, I just put on headset and play.
>>413738071
>I mean it's gotten much better since the days of the og Vive, but there's always new bullshit to deal with
It used to take me up to 45 minutes every time to get my CV1 Rift working. I do not miss that.

I originally turned off full body because it always felt like I was twisted. Turned it back on and now I can better visualize where my "body" is and it more or less fixed my issue. Turns out I was in a bad orientation with it off. Thanks.
>>413744172
About the 'application' then. For the first few weeks the discussion was about avatars, worlds, and experiences. The last is the hardest to discuss now because everyone exclusively spends time in /vrg/ instances so they can't talk about anything that happened without doxxing themselves.
>Pimax Crystal is actually good
>it doesnt have lighthouse and native tracking is shit
For all the recent hype, there hasnt been anything groundbreaking in high-end consumer VR this launch cycle.
Kind of a relief to be honest cause i cant afford a 4090 to max out a next-gen device.
>>413757221

Finally someone mentions this game! One of my secret favorites since it first came out, good rec anon.
>>413757221
As much as people hate on Meta and love to shit on the price of the Meta Pro. I think the Meta Pro package is pretty ground breaking. Having face tracking + eye tracking in such a small package without making it look stupid is very nice. The lenses are groundbreaking, not because of the pancake lenses alone but how Meta designed them. They're completely clear without negative len side effects. You then have the controllers that offer base station level of tracking because they handle tracking on their own.
Picked up a Quest 2 for myself over Christmas. The technology has come quite a ways in 10 years. I've been having a good time with it, but he Quest library seems pretty small—handful of good titles, or at least titles I find interesting. Is it worth upgrading my graphics card to expand my accessible library to PC VR games? Cheapest cards I'm finding are around $400. I feel like I might as well gotten a cheap PC VR headset and a new card at this point.
>>413769265
To enjoy pcvr there is no need for high end graphic cards. I managed to get acceptable results from a 1060 3GB, but to not worry about performance, anything with 10GB vram is more than enough, unless you plan on joining the coomer crew with their unoptimized avatar circus
>>413769265
For me, I hate missing out on content so I think Quest 2 is best if you don't want to miss out on any good exclusives. Resident evil 4 VR and the Climb 2 are great games. San Andreas is expected to come to the Quest and I'm sure there will be a lot of great games in the future too.
>>413769265
First try Sidequest - you can sideload a lot of games directly to Quest 2. Things like Doom 3 are really great. If there's nothing interesting there then go and try pcvr. Steam has alot of games totally worth it. Alyx, Half-Life 2, Skyrim and more. Also PCVR has better graphics, so playing is even more fun.
I am playing Garden of The sea now and having a blast
>>413769265
The most important thing is actually a Router. Wifi6 and around 1k mb speed is way to go.
Also in case of GPU i have 1660Super, and playing most of the games very smoothly. (Didn't try Alyx tho)
>>413666374
vrkshop is kinda fits this for me. its cool on principle. being able to make stuff by using traditional processes ported to VR. but the reality of unity physics and some unfortunate choices by the dev make it pretty painful to actually make stuff. For example things just bounce around if you touch something wrong. One last thing thats unfoturente is that my headset is way to heavy to be looking down all the time. If anything this is a cool example of how detailed certain things can be for VR and how they could work.
>>413769265
Compared to a Quest 2 there aren't really any great options for a cheap PCVR headset unless you're a racing or flight simmer.
Rifts are long out of production and warranty
WMR has worse controller tracking and is a lower priority for developers
Original Vive is a resolution downgrade and comes with shitty controllers
Anything else is more expensive or you risk buying used
>>413770187
I have Sidequest, but have only used it to modify graphic settings. Is there a floating list somewhere of the best games to sideload?
>>413747508
Yeah, but the sign language you can learn is an adaptation of it specifically for VR. So you'll be able to talk to other people/mutes who also use VR signs, but you will probably not be able to follow everything an IRL signer might do. Remember to turn off your face gestures when you're signing unless you want to look like you're having a stroke

You're supposed to stop and recover after you start feeling the symptoms of motion sickness, otherwise it gets worse. I find sitting down helps tremendously when playing games. I have had my system for about a month and still get a little queasy from time to time when playing stand-up games.
>>413812747
i never had motion sickness before, im just feverish from being sick, like actual flu sickness not VR sickness
i just slammed my index controller against my dresser within 5 minutes of trying vr ping pong and it fucking popped the faceplate off partially so i pushed it back on, then the thumbstick was totally fucked up
so then i immediately pried the faceplate off with a piece of metal by jamming it into the joystick, and then recentered the joystick and put it back together and its perfectly fine again, feels like new
wew
>>413758136
True, depends how good those things are and if they add too much weight. Never looked into them.
>>413760893
From the previews I've seen from YouTubers, it's apparently as good or better than a Varjo aero visually but with better vertical fov. They pretty much went for a normal headset and sacrificed their wacky wide format that made other pimax headsets all distorted on the sides. No idea how reliable it will be till we get full reviews.
>>413818827
i think it just swaps out for the default camera tracking faceplate so weight tradeoff shouldn't be much
>>413686919
I wish they'd update the damn game again.
>>413818051
Check space before starting!
Any headsets to look out for coming out from CES? Even they ridiculously high budget ones.
>>413832581
Mostly overpriced standalones this year. Not worth the asking price when they cant pull off half their touted features well imo.
Varjo has a new thing but its not consumer grade afaik.
Pimax Crystal is the closest to being the new PCVR king, but I want to see more hands on >proofs and the lighthouse addon before im sold on it.
Is a Doom Eternal VR mod playable?
Heard its been worked on but googling details has been confusing.
>>413832581
I don't have much faith in them.
>VIVE XR Elite
Meh, for pure VR use all it has going for it is light weight, swappable headstraps and face/eye tracking upgrades. Specs aren't impressive, price certainly isn't, HTC don't have a good history with inside out tracking and the included headstraps don't look all that comfortable for long sessions.
>Somnium VR1 (it's not new but they proved it's not dead)
Open source and customizable sounds nice on paper but Somnium Space is blockchain NFT bullshit and I'm not convinced that Prusa backing means much for viability. It's not like we haven't seen plenty of other stationary demos for panels and lenses.
>Pimax Crystal
Visuals sound good but I fully expect the Pimax experience with complicated software that requires a lot of user effort and multiple hardware revisions that fix problems the launch version shouldn't have. They have no confidence in their inside-out tracking all we have for lighthouse integration are claims of a $200 addon. There always seems to be a catch with Pimax.
>NXTWear V
Literally just a concept render, probably won't ever release
>Xtal and Varjo
Not even aimed at high end consumers.
>>413853740
>>413832581
All of this CES talk and all the Bradlington videos, but no mention of Valve anywhere. Do they have their own convention or something? I just want a new good consumer headset for an affordable price (around 1k let's say like the Index). Wanting to replace my G2 bad.
>>413854075
My theory is that Valve is in the middle of trying to mog all the competiton, but they dont want to release another wired device.
Would be pretty epic from their end to solve wireless high end PCVR connection with no compromises in resolution or fps.
>>413854731
But wired is better and I don't want to pay extra for useless features...
>>413855159
>But wired is better

>>413854731
Wireless does seems like the one problem they couldn't solve for the Index and they won't be happy to release a successor until they've found a good solution.
>>413855237
>no argument
Yeah at shit and die.
>>413855159
>wired is better
Not really, with modern wireless protocols.
>>413857067
Yes really. Depending on your use case scenario of course.
>>413855159
the market doesnt want wired, period. VR has two ways to go, growth, appealing to the mass that hasnt high expectations when it comes to quality of visuals but wants ease of access or a small niche of stagnating enthusiasts willing to sacrifice ease of access for higher visual quality. Dont worry there is always going to be somebody selling your niche high priced prototypes using you as beta testers.
>>413854075
CES is for investors, Valve doesn't need investors, besides the fact that they're private.
>>413863914
Valve always aims for the latter, don't kid yourself, it's just that they value advancement in technology more.
>>413868836
>valve
>valuing anything but microtransactions in the current decade
>>413857067
Not that I've tried them but any latency makes vr unplayable. I had some wireless headphones I bought just for vr and the latency over bluetooth was so long it was disorienting just moving my head.
>>413881027
You underestimate 5 ghz networks, let alone 6 ghz dedicated to one application
>>413881027
Bluetooth is really slow. Even version 5 with aptx low latency can't get lower than about 50 ms. A dedicated wifi 6 transmitter communicating with a headset a few meters away would be 1 ms or less.
So there's these cheaper "m" versions of GPUs on aliexpress with laptop chips that seem to perform about the same as the regular versions. The Nvidia ones seem to only work with shady drivers and aren't advised but the AMD ones work fine with the official drivers
Would you recommend this for PCVR? my 1060 doesn't cut it

Valve does everything on its own time and pace. Deckard will probably just randomly be announced/revealed on Steam.
>>413881027
Bluetooth is shit.
I do like wired more simply because wireless is going to be lossy encoding with high resolution VR. But wireless is going to be the mainstream way to go, so you better get used to it and hope there's some enthusiast brand will keep display port for 120+hz at 4k per eye. The delay shouldn't be that bad anymore in a good headset though, it's just going to be gimped in the quality it can provide.
>>413892976
See if you can unstretch it
>Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally 2.0\hardwaresettings\hardware_settings_config_vr.xml
If not then OBS + Open VR plugin seems to be the most popular. Never used it but WMR also has an option to record video in the menu right next to the screenshot button.
>>413854731
Lol, why does people think Valve has like crazy engineers with knowledge that is years ahead from everyone else? They literally had to find and hire engineers but ended up having to hire Meta's leftovers that meta had to lay off.

Still seems like a lot. What is a good number for latency anyway? The headphones I got had a latency of about 120ms which was absolutely terrible. They had a "low latency" mode that crunched the shit out of the sound and brought it down to 100ms which was still terrible.

Honestly, excited for the Pimax Crystal. I was really skeptical during the roadshow as impressions were mixed, general consensus was amazing visual shit everything else, but CES impressions have been way better and seems like they even fixed the inside out tracking to be good. The lighthouse addon even works flawlessly, apparently.
Still want them to fucking deliver on the eye tracking and wireless, however. Those not having any demonstrations or videos yet is worrying.
>>413938158
where are the CES impressions?
>>413939769
Quite positive overall. For specific impressions, hate to bring up the fucking youtubers but the only easy to find people who've tried it multiple times to compare with vs last month's demos, but in general they say the experience is a lot better. Shill/Thrillseeker said it could be his next headset if the software doesn't suck. Bradly hated the thing before, aside from the screens, last time he tried it but was really positive this time, at least on twitter, and even said the inside out tracking was close enough to the Quest 2 to be fine for gaming. And then a few other people echoed the sentiment. Battery life on the controllers is a more respectable 5 hours now too, headset seems to last a while as well.
One common complain I see is that, for some people, the focal distance is kind of off. Things up close are super sharp and great, but stuff a bit further away seems blurrier than it should be, which is weird because that problem was reported in the early demos last month and then Pimax fixed it, but now it's back again for some fucking reason. How good the inside out tracking is also seems not quite agreed on. Brad had the most positive comments I saw, where as I see more people saying it's fine and should work for gaming, but isn't fantastic. At least you can use the SteamVR plate if the tracking sucks shit though.
>tfw you started making a VR game back in 2016 but gave up midway because you thought you were late to the boat and it wasnt worth the time
Kind of regret it now. I had no skills besides looking up Unity guides but I still think i could have cashed in on the novelty sales even if it took me 2-3 years to release some simple pos room scale arcade.
Back then Valve and Oculus were already funding some devs. But Oculus/Meta were still throwing cash at people and giving free advertising to meme indie titles all the way up to 2022. With enough social media spam, that could have been me getting zuckerbucks for spare rope.

What's up with these new standalone headsets like the XR Elite, and Crystal not using the XR2+ chip that the Meta pro has? Is that some kind of exclusivity?
>>413950074
My friend back then had very little experience as a dev but he was able to easily get a devkit for the Quest 1 and then he sold it lol.
>>413951268
I'm pretty sure the Crystal is using it since it has an LPDDR5 memory config. Somebody dug up the part numbers a long while back and confirmed that. So it's at least not the same chip as the Quest 2.
>>413953069
It just says XR2 gen 1 though which is the same as the Quest 2.
>>413954882
Which is incorrect, as Pimax posted a teardown of the Crystal a while back in high enough res somebody was able to check the actual QR codes on some of the parts to find out extra information, which included things like the exact stock specs of the panel and that it was not the XR2 that the Quest has.
>>413955204
That's not credible when I'm literally citing information from Pimax itself on their official website. You have so far, shown nothing at all besides, "trust me dude"
>>413958897
Alright, so turns out they actually quietly downgraded it.
https://web.archive.org/web/20221116103133/https://pimax.com/crystal/
Because if you look here from less than a month and a half ago, at the bottom when they list all the parts, it has 12GB of RAM+2 kinds of storage. Furthermore, there was a part list taken from the Chinese net where Pimax submitted the Crystal to get approved over there, pic related and apologize for the low res the full image 404'd so I had to settle for a preview of it. But to save you sifting through some gook speak, the part number was 2130P, which has LPDDR5 RAM, and 12GB of LPDDR5 is the same configuration that the Quest Pro has for its XR2. While the Quest 2 only has 6GB of LPDDR4X. Check that yourself if you want, I've spoonfed enough.
https://pimax.com/crystal/
But checking now, it can be seen that it's only 8GB of RAM+256GB. Which is still more than the Quest 2 and configurations do exist which have 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
So, we're both wrong, unless Pimax is lying through their teeth. It's not the exact same chip as the Quest 2, some extra RAM that's also a fair bit quicker. But it's not the configuration I thought it was either.
>>413960986
2130P is still not the 2150P that Meta Pro. So they never used the Meta Pro's chip which I assume is exclusive.
>>413883761
Judging by your replies to those warning you not to be retarded I can tell you're just eager to get fucked over by aliexpress chinkware. Enjoy your shit card anon. Should have just saved the money for a nicer card.

Everybody here thinks it is a borderline retarded idea, but clearly you know something we don't. So take the plunge! Go for it and stop shitting up the place.
>>413960986
If it's 2130P it's the same one in the Quest 2 and Pico 4. As the Pico shows you can uptier the RAM while using the same chip.
>>413962162
XR2+ Gen1 (the one in the Quest pro) isn't exclusive, Lenovo announced a headset with it late last year and Qualcomm have stated that other OEMs are using it.

>>413940895
I might have to get it as it seems to be the only new lighthouse headset coming out. I hope that they sell it without the gay sword controllers so I can just keep using my knuckles. It being wireless is real nice. Hopefully the standalone version can run Ragnarock so I can get sweaty without having to boot up my PC.
Really sucks that babeltech is dead now.

>>413998404
Wait, that game contains the anime?
>>413998703
If you mean rhythm games that autogenerate maps, there's audioshield by the same dev as audiosurf. There's also PerformVR, which I haven't tried yet but I kind of like the dev, who maintains his own fork of xenko/stride engine just for VR support, so his games don't have that samey unity or unreal look to them.

Why do you fucks never cite sources when you make claims. It’s so easy. I can’t seem to find specific details about the xr2+ chip.
>>414004387
What am I a journalist? Oh wait 99% of VR journalists don't source any of their shit either. Since you can't google it, it's the Lenovo ThinkReality VRX and here it is straight from the horse.
>ThinkReality VRX is a collaborative endeavor between Lenovo and cutting-edge Snapdragon® XR2+ Gen 1 platform
And the source for more Qualcomm OEM comments.

>Multiple OEMs have committed to commercializing devices powered by Snapdragon XR2+
>>414008338
I looked on the official website of Lenovo advertising the product and they didn’t mention the new chip, which is why I wasn’t sure where you found the info. Nice to know Qualcomm is doing it for them.

Probably the closest we'll ever get to Zachtronics in VR. I wish the puzzles were constructed in a way that were a bit more open though. Some of the later puzzles felt like they only had one real solution because the layout is so constrained.

Is that on their discord or something?
I want to record gameplay for webms and stuff but on an AMD card, ReLive just tanks VR performance. Is there a better way to do it (just use OBS or something)? Do Nvidia cards have this problem?
>>414049913
I sometimes record and it most of the time it looks like ass no matter what. 6900xt. AMD is just dogshit. This is one rare example where it somehow looks good.
>>414050846
With ReLive or something else? I don't mind the looking like ass part so much as the running like ass part.
>>414050938
Just OBS. Not even that one plugin because I'm on a G2, and the G2 is dogshit as well. And it will run like ass yeah. I play AMS2 with copencomposite though, which improves performance. Could also be CPU related as well, not sure what system and headset you're running. Pretty sure it's an AMD issue because my old 1660ti was better at recording. Regular flat games but still. As soon as I "upgraded" recording was shittier.
>>414048151
Yeah 'TBA January' and 'TBA this month', maybe that just means the announcement for the PCVR date but they have used that language for past Breachers and Hyperdash announcements too /hopium.
Discord is unfortunately the best and often only way to keep up to date on the development on VR games.
>>414051269
It's frustrating but entirely unsurprising that all of the VR journo outlets are totally inept.
>>414049913
>>414050846
AMD is seriously teetering on the precipice for VR. Multitude of driver issues, lagging behind against the 4000 series and now some newer headsets dont even support AMD out of the box.
Im going to have to bite the bullet and pay the Nvidia tax for my next GPU.
Im already feeling a massive kick in the nuts from my 6800xt because this pos cant run 7-8k video. All the highest fidelity porn has been inaccessible to me and its abysmal.

So Pimax Crystal confirmed shipping first 200 units end of the month and around march if you order today. Faceplate a bit later.
Anyone here planning to get it?
Im not in the market right now, but looking at all the options it would be the most tempting purchase for a high end PCVR today. Their QA and jank leaves a lot to be desired however. Its hard to be confident in a product when they're still fixing basic issues right up to the launch window.
>>414064783
Why would you ever preorder A VR headset? Sounds like the most stupid thing ever.
>>414064783
The only headset I'd ever preorder is a non-standalone one from Valve.
>>414072762
Which given Valve's hardware and QC issues also probably isn't a good idea, but it's at least justifiable because they have a decent customer service track record.
>>414026449
Honestly it reminded me a lot of spacechem and magnum opus. Magnum opus had support for custom levels where you could define inputs and outputs. Would be pretty rad to be able to do that in clockwinder. Especially if there was workshop support or some method for sharing them.
>>414051869
Not the "journos" fault. Discord is the dead of information. Those devs who actively use it as the primary communication tool shouldn't be surprised nobody knows or cares about their shit beside a handfull of tranny cocksuckers
>>414089690
True. Look at what the dark web actually is; it's all non-googleable information. Discords cannot be searched through without being in the discord, and even then searching sucks. I've been complaining about this too; discord being just an information black hole. Like in 20 or so years when people try to find fixes and information about old games or tech, instead of the meme being that it's an old forum post with the solution sent in DM it's just going to be: join our discord (discord dead). But due to how much information is locked away in discords it's going to be a black hole, some kind of dark age where nothing was recorded even though it was in the middle of the information age.
>>414064783
It looks promising, but you should really wait for some actual reviews to get the finished, shipped product before making any decisions. Maybe they'll fix some of the problems or maybe they'll take forever to get everything working with how down to the last minute they are with working on it.
>>414089950
Discord is shit and like all closed containment rooms that have little to no contact to the exterior it devolves always into circle jerks that don't produce anything of value. I wouldn't worry too much about lost information, as if it gets posted in a discord it didn't had much value to begin with.
I see it more from a marketing perspective. Devs and other "creatives" may love being able to build their own little fiefdom of cocksuckers and imagine themselves growing their army of sycophants the more "popular" they believe they become, but at the end of the day the 50 cocksuckers telling you how great your shit is to get some goodies or "roles" to feel important have little to no reason to grow because it means more cocksucking competition, therefore the product developed with "da community" is a) going to be shit only appealing to 50 cocksuckers and b) unknown to anyone else

It's unfortunately a Quest game first and foremost so modding interest is likely to be limited, but it'd be awesome were it to happen. But the other thing is that I think there just need to be more gameplay elements. Obvious unexplored opportunities to me include being able to determine the placement of the stick stations and having to work around barriers because there's like one room in the entire game where bookshelves block line of sight. I think it'd be incredibly cool to be able to lay out your own production line.

>>414190138
I assume its pic related we're talking about.
Some people dont mind that style but its not my cup of tea. Part of the hype around RE was having a more AAA graphical experience.
Looking around there dont seem to be too many other good mods with full body tracking so I might just stick to RE2 and try and get used to the interruptions.
>>414190801
hmm, i guess it is sort of low poly, but its' definitlely not those grating unity asset packs you see everywhere. OW has textures and foliage. reminds me of psychonauts.
>>414176546
RE7 and RE8 work much better in VR due to being native first person, rather than a third person game modded to be first. There's still some jank in menu navigation and non-manual reloading, but I found them pretty good.
>>414190801
