Although the /vrg/ soccer team may be eliminated, last night we were randomly given one last meme match against another eliminated team, /nikg/ (Goddess of Victory: Nikke General, AKA that one gacha with the jiggling asses).

Remember the GFL event I ran last year? Well I want to run it again this year (though abit better).
I am planning on using the same map (since making a new one would be a lot of work and I am retarded) but I am going to TRY MY BEST to update the following:

Thanks for reaching out. I actually did intend to attend pypy today. However, when I decided to get on VR and show up an hour late as per usual, I discovered that I had somehow burnt out the usb controller on the shitty $5 usb hub that I use(used) to connect my tracker dongles to.

Now it is true that I could have overcome this problem by unplugging a couple of devices from my computer to free up other usb ports, however at this point I instead opted to go take a nap.

Ok now imagine this... a vr game where you're a ukraine defender who has to defend your trench system from constant human wave mobik attacks, it's all centered on the exact same small map but as you progress through the levels you stay in the same area but the terrain changes, the seasons change, over time you get increasingly better resupply of new western weapons, your trench gets bigger and you can keep all sorts of souvenirs from dead mobiks and sometimes wagners in your trench base.
It's like VR CoD zombies essentially but in VR except sometimes you might catch the zombies buggering each other or committing suicide because they got wounded but their commanders wont let them retreat even for injuries.

If you're doing it properly and not lazily then it's super solid cardio. My watch says I burn more calories doing pypy for an hour or so then mixed walking/jogging on a treadmill by a good margin. I have traversed in and out of /vrg/ for about 2 years now, I still feel as isolated from these cool "chill" people as I was when I first came in.
Anyone telling you it's a cool welcoming environment does so begrudgingly out of duty to keep you in this Jonestown camp of misery and loneliness because this place is bleeding numbers (and rightfully so).
The pre-existing circlejerks of Discord trannies will isolate you if you aren't in lockstep with them, ignore you, give you shade, and it's worse when you realize it's these people who have all the pull in this so called "community".

The game itself as concept could be okay, but the execution, the mechanics, the input, the ai, the weapon handling, the backpack handling.... its such a technical clusterfuck that Beyond Frames should be avoided as a publisher for putting the pressure on Combat Waffles Studio by releasing the game in a pre alpha stage and having to develop it now, when it needed at least another 6 months or more of development and testing.
