Different DLC for the games and they're not network compatible but multiplayer is broken in UFS anyway so it doesn't matter much. The DLC is older so it might have problems with newer HMDs and controllers probably. Both are janky and basically abandoned with dev just throwing overpriced DLC out now and then so pick whichever, sadly that's the best you get on PC. If have Quest just get Real VR Fishing instead.

But the problem with filtering out green with glasses is it tints everything magenta. You can see when he puts the glasses infront the the camera the colors are not good. Unity is going to be a much less desirable engine moving forward but studios with unity games aren't going to instantly explode.
If I had to make an uneducated guess about what this really is about, it would be that it's about phone games. PC developers can pretty easily just start working with unreal or whatever, but a lot of phone developers are stuck with unity. Using "installs" as a metric also makes a lot more sense in the context of phone games.

Also another interesting bit of information is both the steam deck and the index were radio certified in south korea after announcement. No, not really on a long term basis I don't think. I dunno. The AI voice changer certainly isn't perfect but it's a step in the right direction. I'm actually due for an update pretty soon, I think there are some new versions of it out now.
I don't have the same obsession with the real that a lot of people seem to have. I think VR is great for just logging in and relaxing in an anime like environment that's different from the daily grind and voice is as important as the anime avatar. It's something I'm interested in so I'll probably continue trying to refine it.

VR, multiplayer, being able to fly your ship anywhere, and no hideous niggers really helps sell NMS. I think that it's the best suited for VR survival crafting game. Traversal is done immersively by piloting your starships/exocrafts like you would in VTOL, you access all of your tools by accessing the multi tool over your shoulder and using the touch screen to switch between them, and inventory management isn't annoying with stack sizes being huge. You don't need to physically punch trees or melee waggle enemies. Instead mining is done via your mining laser and all the combat is gun based. Even the actions that would be handled through single button presses like harvesting plants and opening containers is handled via using your grip and pulling which helps immersion. It's fun to go to the multiplayer hub and literally dab on desktopers too.

NMS is a pretty good game now. I come back to it every few major updates.
I do have some criticisms of the VR mode, it's annoying that it's so fixed and you're constantly standing up and sitting down in explore mode. It's not very immersive unless you stand up or sit down too.
I like to do a lot of my exploration stuff in flat mode, and then when I build a base I like or find a planet I want to walk around on, then in get in VR to look around.

Realism mode in Crossfire Sierra Squad feels so much better than the default arcade mode. If they had launched with this mode unlocked from the start the reviews would probably have been less negative.
