With regard to Pavlov, I've hosted quite a few lobbies and would wager that I still have more hours played than you.
Why did I stop? Pavlov is a tired old game that hasn't had a meaningful update in years. In the first place, most of the good maps were classic CS ports to begin with. To make things worse, most of the friends I played with also lost interest in the game. Now people just play drunk pavlov occasionally [i don't drink] and it's still a boring game, frankly.
I recently played the break in, but it has some item grabbing issues that need to be improved.

I'm not the kind of person who will sit around playing bad games and coping with "I'm playing vr games!!!!!!" when I could be having more fun playing vrchat or a flat game.

Dungeon Full Drive is the next game I have my eye on that might be good.

I spent most of yesterday poking at it on Linux and I think the only piece missing is that the proximity sensor either isn't working, or SteamVR on Linux is missing some info on how to wake up the display
otherwise everything seems to work besides having the display turn on via proximity or otherwise
it works fine on Windows with RDNA3, though I had to set the display resolution in Windows for it to its maximum before SteamVR realized it should be hiding it from being an extended display

Graphics are pretty much back, sounds is definitely back, custom maps, lots of people playing (and not only squeekers), new 6v6 gamemode, 5v5 gamemodes (sweaty and with respawns).

Do those games run on your PC via Link or Airlink? If so, the Oculus versions are usually slightly superior because they run natively on the Oculus runtime but you would lose them if you switched headsets.
If they're in the Oculus store in standalone mode (i.e. not connected to your PC yet), they're the mobile versions of those games and are usually much worse.
Get them on Steam, it usually hardly makes a difference and some of these games even run natively on the Oculus runtime despite being on Steam.

They want you to make a sidequest account to get your profile and then make ReadyPlayerOne avatars with that integration (there weren't custom avatars that I could see). You don't need to make an account to join worlds but a few worlds disallow no-account users, I wonder how long that will last.
Also the menus were bad but somehow better than chillout vrs menus, probably because the menu buttons work.

This deal was essentially forced on them by (((Sequoa capital))) the majority shareholder of unity and the executives went along with it because they got an insane pay package.
Unity is unprofitable to the tune of 1 Billion dollars. $940 million dollars of that 1 billion is due to executive pay packages. Unity would otherwise only be in a $60 million dollar hole due to standard operation costs.
So Unity is being used to try and kill other advertising platforms and prop up an israeli ad platform that also makes malware.

If you made a game with unity in the past whatever ToS was active at the time you were making it and publishing it is the ToS for that game forever.
They removed the ToS github that tracked ToS changes and have made the new installation tax retroactive for any game ever published with unity.
