For anyone that installs it, I recommend turning on 'always on cursor' in uevr after you load into the game to make navigating ui stuff on the leopard seamless. You can just push the mouse to the bottom of your screen to hide it once you're in a mech. Then just pull it up again after the mission or if you hit escape for the menu's.

What hotas and rudders are you using? I like the idea of using rudders to move my mech's torso independent of the legs in a lore friendly way.

Logitech flight rudder pedals and logitech x-56 rhino hotas.

I actually use the rudder pedals to rotate the legs. Think like pushing right to rotate the tank's treads facing right. That's all I use it for. I wanted it to also control throttle at first but that got annoying since i never have my feet on the pedals the same way all the time. I bought all these for Elite Dangerous in vr and luckily they're good for MW as well. All my torso and targeting is on my joystick. All my locomotion, navigation, and functionality is on my throttle. So stuff like map overlay, heat override, airstrikes, etc.

I also have VoiceAttack which I use for lance commands and making menu'ing less tedious in VR. I say 'very well' to press space bar and continue through all the post-mission shit. Voice attack is actually useful for tons of shit vr and non-vr alike. I automate some skill and flask activations in PoE with voiceattack for example. A lot of stuff I bought has multiple use cases.

I have some bass shakers that racing sim guy's use on their way too. I'll be mounting those under my ass so I get some rumble feedback when walking/shooting/gettingshot I haven't decided what will be immersive but not annoying yet.

It is a regular headset, just without inbuilt headphones. It looks small but it has a reasonable fov (about the same as the quest 2 I believe). It's lighthouse tracked, has a great mic, the screen is good if you can get the EXACT SWEETSPOT (has small sweetspot).
The main advantage is light and smol. It's more or less an index sidegrade though with some tradeoffs. Some people here have them; some really like it some really don't so reviews are mixed.

Will these wi-fi 7 developments matter if your PC itself can't handle wi-fi 7 to transmit processing to the router->headset? Most computers have 2.5Gbps which doesn't compare to the new standard from what I saw

In case anyone is thinking about getting lens inserts from vrrock for quest3, some things to consider:
-vroptician seems better quality in my opinion (makes sense since it ships from germany vs china)
-If you order magnetic ones they'll charge you 30$ extra. I ordered NON magnetic ones and they sent magnetic ones anyway without charging the 30$ so not sure if this is a mistake or everything they send is magnetic and the checkbox is just scamming you 30$
-IMO quest2 are more comfortable both with and without lens inserts.

I've noticed that the AMD drivers for my 6700xt have been a lot more stable finally. They also fixed the video playback on streams so I can watch anime without being on a year old driver. steanvr also has less crashes and is able to recover a lot more than before.

Most people here spend more time in VRChat than anything else. There aren't a lot of VR games with a ton of content unless you're into sims or willing to sink endless hours into modded Skyrim VR, and big releases aren't as common as they are for non-VR stuff just because the audience is smaller.
If you're on the fence, I personally think there are enough fun VR exclusives to make it worth picking up one of the cheaper headsets to mess around with even if you have no interest in VRChat, but I'd make sure you have some specific games you want to play first.

on linux you just do
