Nobody likely cares but after wiping drivers, all oculus files, re-installing all again, trying different versions of network drivers, usb drivers, cleaning them all again, re-installing some, wiping windows clean and trying again with the result Bluescreen as soon as some load gets streamed through the ethernet port to the wifi router to the quest with the tethered phone in-between. As soon as the phone is removed from the bridge, the Quest refuses to find the PC on the network.

The solution, which was an esoteric longshot, the tethered phone was removed from the bridge and instead an usb 3G stick with no sim was bridged to the ethernet port linked wifi router, while the tethered phone provides internet, which the quest recognizes for some reason, despite the wifi router not providing internet access to any other device.

I'm convinced its magic now.

Saving guns has always been an issue that caused snowballing but generally Gem server isn't sweaty enough to abuse it. Often I don't even see people saving even when it would really help. I'm glad they don't because otherwise we'd have more people stalling out a round because they picked up an extra rifle or two. I don't even think about doing it unless it's a 5v1 and there are weapons worth saving.

It was less of an issue with limited ammo enabled as you were practically limited to only saving one free weapon instead of 2 but that mode had it's issues and nobody complained when it switched back.

Sawed off isn't as good as the stats might suggest. The spread is much wider than the pump action and you're dead if two shots weren't enough. Firing at anyone beyond a few meters does almost nothing. Most of the time players are using two, which is stronger but also costs 2000.

Famas is the only one where I'd say the irons are virtually unusable. The gun recoils so much the sights clip into you.
Until you learn to hipfire it you end up having to use it like the P90 where aiming vaguely down the length of the gun is better than trying to fight the ironsights.

No, it's a badly optimized game and on top of that, laggy avatars can make it worse. Then as the cherry on top, you being on a Quest 3 means that your graphics card and CPU have to work extra hard to encode the video to your Quest. That last one is not super impactful but it'll turn your 35FPS into 25 with a card like the 1080ti.
With that card, turn on avatar hider in the settings menu and limit yourself to avatars within 16 meters and the closest 16 avatars only and you'll have a much better experience. You can also auto-hide avatars that are ranked "Very Poor" but this will hide a lot of avatars.

Apart from ALVR's index emulation, not yet.
There is some new group that also added index emulation and skeletal input via Virtual Desktop ( see VD twitter ) now that it passes it through via OpenXR, but that is nothing new, and doesn't help you in VRChat.
VRChat is mostly a pain because index emulation is garbage, so you have to use OSC instead, and 256bits updating at 10hz just isn't enough... unless!

Pictured is all joints on both hands updating at 10hz, using only 160bits. Disregard thumb and stuff; have fixed that but old video.

tl;dr is being worked on, not ready quite yet

Another problem with VRChat specifically is that Unity's humanoid rig goes out of its way to implemented splay/roll very incorrectly, making it incapable of reproducing a lot of hand poses.
You could just use transform animations instead, but unity doesn't let you touch them once they're animated by the humanoid rig, so you'd need to remove them from that first, which sucks.

Anyway, here is the map list. We'll start with two regular CoD maps using GunSmokeAndCharm. After that it will be five TFVR maps, one capture point, two regular payload, one payload race and one KOTH. There is a KOTH melee only map but I don't know if TFVR has melee physics so I didn't add that one. After that one CoD map using Ninja and finally two WWI loadout, first the trench warfare map from last session and for the final one a chaotic 8vs8 battle in Rust using melee only (please don't use guns, there is no way to limit it with WWI loadout).
Some of the guns from the WWI loadout are weird to use, read the instructions from the mod.io page.
