How do you actually clean the lenses when sweat and smudges get to them? All resources online consider microfiber cloth + some alcohol to be blasphemous or something, just rubbing the lenses doesn't cut it

everyones needs are different, i just received my vive XR elite (355$ on ebay) and i already love it and will probably use it over my quest pro for my use (FBT dancing)

if anyone is wondering, you can use vive trackers with continuous calibration on it just fine, the only gimmick is that you have to hide the controllers or else steam will detect them. on the quest pro you can use a windows powershell program to make steamvr not see them, but i guess the XRE doesnt have any people looking at that stuff so it is what it is.

its hard to describe how much nicer the size is , + being wireless.

I used my quest two to play some pressurewash vr with my dad, and I have to say that the mic is way better quality than I was expecting.
Game was also enjoyable, even with me having to remind my dad of how to do literally anything every two minutes. I hope we do it again some time.

I switch between index and quest2. Possible quest3 purchase on the horizon.

Pavlov is still broken for me so I guess drunk pavlov is out for me.

I can launch the game and get to the main menu fine. I can look around, and my controllers are being tracked, the pointer is visible in the main menu, however it is off by about 35 degrees and none of the buttons work.

I've tried the default control bindings and several community bindings. None of them work at all.

Tried reinstalling, nothing fixed.

The constant stuttering was just yesterday but the compression artifacts are always present and extremely noticeable, especially with reds. And I'm using a TP-Link Archer AXE75 AX5400 as an access point, which was one of the recommended ones by the Virtual Desktop dev.
No matter how good WiFi is it just can't compare in picture quality with DisplayPort. Maybe WiGig but that thing is Intel only.

I have a 10g spf+ card connected to a wifi 7 router running linux, I don't think the wireless card for it is even available yet for the general public. Neither drivers are ready. Might be an option in 3-6 months.

Steam Link encoded resolution is so goddamn low (1500px) that even with your eye trackedencoding I don't see how you can get sharp image at all. Sure you'll get lower artifacting because of the higher bitrate where you're looking but the VD encode res is like twice as much.
