If you just bought Asseto - grab Assetto Corsa Content Manager - a better launcher and mod manager: https://assettocorsa.club/content-manager.html To install mods: just drag and drop zip files from mega onto the Content Manager windows and click on the hamburger menu on top right. Highly recommend installing stable custom shader patch and 7-zip plugin in Content manager.

He's a helpfull AI fellow in the pits who'll provide you information about your car, your opponents, yell at you or try to encourage you. And most importantly, he will spot for you, in case you have a car in you blind spot.

UI radar are immersion breaking and basically cheating, but this guy will tell you verbally if someone is there on your right. Download, install, select Asseto Corsa in game list, press "Start application" and it should work!

Nice, I was curious what the exact stats are.
The rifles feel pretty well balanced to me. Best example is how in the $2300 price bracket there are 6 guns but the two vanilla guns, Galil and FAMAS, are arguably the best. The only thing I'd change is the killbonus for the AK5c and IA2, given their similar stats they should be in line with the M4 whether that means lowering them to 100 or raising all rifles to 300.

Tried the upper body tracking + simulated lower body tracking the Quest 3 has through Virtual Desktop Hive emulation. This is pretty fucking great for a casual setup. Honestly doing the entire headset a disservice if you're playing VRChat locally instead of through your PC.

5) delete the bottom half of your avatar

it's probably the anti-ytdlp checks that jewtube has. All vrchat's video players depend on yt-dlp working in the background. If that's the case, there's no certain fix. You can try logging into an official Google(tm) account on Google Chrome(tm) and viewing some ads on YouTube(tm), with the same computer, and that might give you enough good goy points that yt-dlp will work again. And/or reset your router to roll for a better ip. Or use a VPN.

I had it all open I just hadn't figured out how to pull it from the scene yet. I'm a dumdum.

I will most likely change the color and vary between slugmaxxing and having the full tail. Haven't figured out what color yet, the logical thing is to match hair or eyes. But my hair is black and my eyes are pink, so those might be jarring colors for a lamia.

Maybe I'll dye my hair white, put my eyes yellow and try to be like that lamia from monster girl quest (alice?). But that's a lot of effort. We'll see.

Nah the "save the multiverse" stuff is done in make almost every character recruitable but comes at the expensive of those characters getting time for detailed arcs and stories. Most major characters have one bit of story when you first meet them and then they're nothing more than little quips and commentary following you around for the rest of the game. Side characters don't even get that, they're just quips and a few lines back home in the castle when you feed them takoyaki or whatever.

The only one with real character progression in paradox is Ilias (and maybe Heinrich&co). Well deserved sure but still I want more character story meat and paradox isn't that kind of game, it's spread too thin. It's still a great game and the rpg gameplay is actually fun compared to MGQ, but the original has a better story.

WRC club is back after an extended hiatus due to some technical difficulties.

Since I'm filling in for the previous admin, we'll be starting off with a 2 week event running H2 FWD at Monte Carlo to test things out. Should be just like before, it's three stages, nothing too long, and you'll have service areas after each one. Event runs until the 29th, but don't wait until the last minute.
After this, the plan is to fix anything I set up incorrectly and start up another Championship. For now, looks like we probably won't be running the DLC since apparently it's been locking some people out of the game.

Bonelab is crazy cool with friends, but it's severely underwhelming in singleplayer. If there are no MP lobbies around, I'd give ItR a shot, it's an amazing piece of VR vidya even if it might not look like it from the outside. Danger is bad enough to make you approach everything a little bit more carefully, but not bad enough to make you rage at how needlessly hard it is, game nails preparation-exploration cycle and cleaning your gun with wd40 and a toothbrush is a weirdly pleasant memory, story and atmosphere might rely hard on abstraction and mystery but it's still very involving and it does a great job at keeping you in the game. Wish I could forget it and replay it again.

consider permadeath mode unless you're looking for a very casual fun. in ItR, you can retrieve your gear after dying, so nothing is lost unless you'll fuck up too hard and run into the middle of an anomaly, and it really improves the overall feel through making you more careful of your approach

I played it and the live service thing they tried to replace the MMO with before end of service was announced. I might have been the only person here to bother trying it despite it being F2P, such was their poor reputation.
For the MMO most of the starting zones were design crept by the new class and region. Grappling hooks were exclusive to it and they're fun to use in combination with the gliding. The other mechanics, resource gathering, farming and 'housing' are worthless and not integrated into each other so they're just pointless grinds.
The Nexus mode was a social hub area with the mechanics from the MMO repurposed into limited time events in side arenas. It was very barebones. The only redeeming quality was the new emphasis on rail grinding and grappling hooks.

Ok, I'm changing my opinion, Evo is not that bad actually.
At 1800x1800 with RTX 3080 12 Gb it's actually okayish.
Fits into vram comfortably, without thrashing, at least, for some time of playing. There seem to be some VRAM leak or something, because on Imola I do start getting some hitches when distant objects load.
Runs at stablish 40-45 fps, not too blurry at that resolution and msaa does it job, so no shimer. I wish I could run it at higher resolution, it looks absolutely amazingly sharp, but VRAM issues, and my full 3500x3500 resolution requires like 16 gigs of VRAM...

The bigger issue was that it was a dice roll if my computer would even correctly recognize my Index after a restart or if it'd fail to boot with the headset plugged in and then see it as a monitor instead.
Rolling back to older drivers fixed those issues, but the performance hit wasn't worth it. I was still in the return period so I just did that and found a used 3090 instead. Supposedly that all got fixed before too much longer, but it's hard for me to recommend an AMD card for VR after all that.
For the 5700XT, after some initial VR issues were fixed, VRC worked fine other than some ancient shaders being broken. Pavlov wouldn't run at all on that card for a few months at one point though.
